How weird is that?
My diagnosed skitzophrenic mormon neighbor was always getting the laying on of hands treatment...
but I never thought a Mother Teresa would need anything like this.. I wonder if the Catholic church will make her a saint any way, even though she doubted the existence of God.

yeah, it's in the new book about her that came out.. reported by the Priest who did it.
And no, it's not made up.
The church has also given this book favorable reviews.

chan-chan, do you doubt CNN and an archbishop?

hmm - I couldn't find anything on the title of the book-- I guess it was just a bunch of manuscripts published that the church approved of, from her sainthood approval process.

I could have sworn I heard something about a book coming out about it as well, but I couldn't find the original article I read.

If you read the other quotes that came out, she was spirtually troubled.

“Such deep longing for God—and … repulsed—empty—no faith—no love—no zeal.—[The saving of] Souls holds no attraction—Heaven means nothing.” “What do I labor for? If there be no God—there can be no soul—if there is no Soul then Jesus—You also are not true.”

Thank You!

She was both human and very spiritual. What is weird about that? I read the article, Nothing surprising there. She Questioned, why God did the things he did! That is FAR different than saying God exists. In my mind she is still a great lady! I don't think the Catholic church has made her a saint yet.

Many religious people have doubts when things go wrong, I have been a Catholic for 53 years and I questioned God only a few months ago, no one is perfect

Mother Theresa believed in God, I just wish people would stop making up things about her, she is dead, let her rest in peace

Edit: what book?

I read the story, but there is no mention of a book and also stories can be made up to discredit a person

she is actually in the process of sainhood now - she's called Blessed Mother Theresa.

assuming you've read the bible -- even Christ asked of His Father - My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me.

while Bl. Theresa make have felt a lack of His presence, she NEVER stopped following His command and doing His will, this makes her even more of a sainted woman in my eyes.

Make no mistake. Mother Theresa was not a Christian. If you want to see more about this, contact Way of Life literature. They have some background information available about this.

Atheists are really desperate to destroy the Christian faith. You see they are very fun of making criticisms, false statements, and debates that are not meant to be debated.
