i wish to stop killing of fellow human beings in the name or religion.

1. Do all the things required of a Muslim:
1) Believe, teach, and behave according to the Truth that God is One and Muhammad, God bless him and grant him peace, was a prophet of God.
2) Pray five times a day, plus two more optional times.
3) Fast in Ramadan, plus other optional days.
4) Pay zakat to the poor.
5) Peform the Hajj.
If all Muslims did these things, including paying their zakat, the world would be a much better place.
2. There is a hadith that says that if a Muslim sees something wrong, s/he must try to change it with his/her hands; if that's not possible, with his/her voice; if that's not possible, through prayer, and relying on prayer alone is the least of faith.
So each person has to do what s/he can do, according his/her abilities, responsibilities, and opportunities.
For me, I help people as much as I can, and try to spread the truth. I'm sure most people do much more.

Eliminate the Islamic extremists among the Muslims so that other people will have no bad perception of Islam.
