The bible is 2000 years old. If you are talking about the Old testament you are talking about something else.

Well, im a christian because, well, im greek so it's a family thing. BUT i think the bible and every single religion is a LOAD OF BULL!!!!! Come on, a thousand years ago people were certain that witches existed, now we think it's ridiculous, i bet in a thousand years time we will look back and think that everything we believe now is ridiculous. Do the greeks and romans and egyptians still believe that there is a god for anything? Nooo... it's all shite. How likely is it that there is a big guy with a long white beard that just always existed and said ''huh, im bored! I know, ill create a massive planet called... ummm... earth! Yeah, and ill create a species of b@stards called humans. Which will, in the future, rape and kill everyone and ruin my beautiful planet. Yeah! I know im big and powerful and can change anything with a flick of my pinky, but i don't think i will try to change poverty or starving babies. And i will make the rich people richer! And i will leave no reliable evidence that i ever existed!''

Come on!!! Is there any religion where u don't have to pay any sort of money to the church, mosque, temple etc
Man just create religion to make MONEY!

The Bible isn't 2000 years old........

the bible wasn't actually written until around 1500, the exact date eludes me because I am feeling too lazy to look it up.

No...not really. Can't see myself getting tired of letting God's wisdom speak to my heart.

Funny thing is, I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing folks bash the Bible either. Just tells me while the war was one on Calvary, the battle continues on.

I never tire of hearing about or reading the word of God. It is one of the most interesting and facinating books that I've ever come across. I am greatful for the teachings and the questions on here. If you tired go to another section and learn about animals or cars you don't have to be in this forum.

We need to follow the guidelines in Exodus 20 at least. The ten commandments do have valid points that create a stable foundation for society.

My father's senelity is centered on the Bible. It could be good for him, but I am more fortunate to have realized that all religions have their own bible, everyone believing that their's the true words of God. Anyone who seek God will find him most specially in his creation. The bible is just a tool for those in the level that needs tool.

It is ok, Jehoiakim burned a scroll of scripture. If people don't want to read or hear the Bible how much more would they be interested going to Heaven...
