littlemissdetective: No dear you've got it wrong, the holy spirit is unnatural being wholly supernatural whereas homosexuality occurs throughout the natural world and is totally natural.

Yes, you are right. I'm afraid that when all the others are saying Christianity is for everyone, it's only with numerous unreasonable strings attached. I will say it til I die: the LOVE that exists between two people (hetero or homosexual) is sacred. In order for me to be a Christian I would not only have to not act on the love that I have for the person in my life, I would also have to pretend that it's not the reality of my NATURAL disposition, and all to please God? What kind of God denies people love? What kind of God puts a plate of cookies in front of you and sends you to eternal damnation if you eat one?

Nope. Sorry. Doesn't sound like a loving God to me.

Those who use the Bible to promote the anti-gay agenda would like for America to think that. But the reality is that there are all kinds of Christians with all kinds of beliefs. I happen to be a Christian gay man. Sadly, the anti-gay, pro-bigotry Christians are the ones who shout the loudest and give all Christians a bad name.

Christ told us that "whosoever believes" in Him would have eternal life. He did not say "whichever heterosexual believes" in Him.... The truth is He never condemned homosexuality, although many of His followers feel that they have the special right to do so. The reality is that homophobia is a sin. Those who try to justify their sin are only fooling themselves, not God.

Christianity is a religion for everyone. It is when you accept Jesus as your savior and have faith that he is the Son of God. You know He loves you and wants you to live according to Gods will. The Holy Spirit will help you in this endeavor. Homosexuality is unnatural as it is natures plan to procreate and two people of the same sex can't procreate. So, therefore, going further than being friends is against nature and God. That is why homosexuality is frowned upon. It would, if done by everyone, end the human race. Why can't a person just love another person as friends.....if not then it is lust and lust comes from Satan.

Christ came for all sinners; that includes homosexuals, murderers, thiefs, adulterers, blasphemers, etc...

Christianity is a specialist religion for people who say that the entire Bible is the complete, inerrant Word of God, and strive to follow the commands of God held within--it shuns people who think they can decide what parts they do and don't have to follow.

A false understanding of our faith, we have a relationship with the Father through His Son but never a religion.

It's all about God and not ourselves. God says homosexuality is perversity then it is forbidden. We don't care what people say, the important is "Thus saith the LORD"...

Your lifestyle is not acceptable to God the Father, try to live a life that is pleasing to Him.

I'm gay and I'm a Christian. I'm studying for the ministry. :)

But, yes, as far as the conservatives are concerned, it's a heterosexuals only club.

In order to feel chosen, you have to replicate people like yourself. And there have to be outsiders.

LGBT people just happen to be the outsiders these days for some churches.

I like the churches that make those who commit injustice the outsiders-- they consider those who oppress others the wicked.:) That's my kind of church.... Go UCC!

In my opinion (which differs from my church's opinion), no. I have a lot of gay friends, and some of them are far better Christians than I am.
