Biblical scholars will tell you that Adam and Eve were created to be the first people OF THE HEBREWS. That does not mean that God never created anyone else.
Cain, for example, went east to the land of Nod and found a wife there, before Adam and Eve began having more children. The bible refers to a group named "Nephilim" as sons of God as well, and apparently very powerful, but who were not descendents of Adam and Eve and who went in for the female descendants of Eve. Some versions of the bible call the Nephilim angels, but they were clearly not of the same line, whoever they were.
That is not to say that, as a small and isolated family, Adam and Eve's children did not have incest, indeed it is clear from the bible that they did. But incest is common in some historical cultures - ancient Egypt, India, Rome and Greece for examples, and recent scientific studies show that birth defects arising from incest are not as common as people believe, and happen only because of rare detrimental recessive traits.
Adam and Eve could not have had any recessive mutations, so their children would not.

Don't try to apply the rules of factuality to the bible. Either a)its a book of potent and important STORIES, that are metaphorical and allegorical, so that facts like apparent incest don't need to be considered. Or else, it's the 100% true record of what God did and said in his interactions with humans, in which case, God needn't obey the rules of factuality, and if God wants incest for the first few generations, he can guard against genetic defects. (Although one is forced to wonder why didn't create a larger gene pool to begin with; on the sixth day God brought for a small community and saw that it was good.) In fact, the bible indicates there were more people on Earth than the Children of Adam and Eve. Cain slays Abel and is exiled to the land of Nod, East of Eden, where, apparently there's already quite a large population living, so much so that he's afraid the people will hurt him, if God marks him as a murderer.

Incest is only biologically harmful when there is a know genetic defect in the family--it increases the chance of the offspring having that defect. Adam and Eve were created perfect, so at least genetically they had no defect.
Incest didn't become a taboo until the Exodus, so it was not considered unacceptable by God at that time either.

Well, technically if there were an Adam and Eve, Eve was made from Adams rib and so would be genetically identical (odd that she is of opposite gender then, but lets not let that get in the way).
This means that technically with Adam and Eve it is not incest - he was having sex with himself. How this leaves his kids, who knows. Morally confused? Genetically muddled?

Yet another reason the buy-bull is bullshit.
Well maybe thats why the world became evil and god needed to wipe out millions and millions of people. But that wouldn't make sense, they had to repopulate the earth through incest again after the flood. god must love incest?

HUMANS WOULD BE PERFECT ENOUGH TO MATE CLOSE RELATIVES FOR A LONG TIME EVEN AFTER SIN AND LIVE TO NEAR 1000 YEARS FOR A LONG TIME:
The family of Abraham in the future after him was to have the law of the land and of God, at 2513 years to 2553 years in the wilderness 430 years after Abraham Exo.12:40,41; Gal.3:16-18; The 603,550 Promised Land heirs as the family of Abraham 857 to 897 years after the flood, when Abraham was 427 years after the flood to get the Promise.
Now they get the law as dwarfs, giants and hunchbacks indicate the need to select a distant relative and not an aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, or nearest cousin Lev. 18:6-18;

Well, at the religious point of view, either God created more people behind the curtains or he didn't and genes were perfect back then. Now I have a question, why does "you know" produce handicapped children?

adam and eve arenot siblings. as for their children, eve gave birth to a pair of twins each time she did. let say...boy twin A will marry off girl twin B and so on...and i dont think its considered as incest because they were meant to do so to populate the earth.

Well, it would sure explain why people are generally mildly retarded.
Seriously, there is no logical explanation, seeing as how there is no evidence of this tale being real in the least.
