If things like dinosaurs are lies from satan, we can no longer trust anything, as anything could be a lie from satan. We might be breathing lead vapour and have bones made of silly string.

Satan is the master of liars, but God spoke Dinosaurs into existence just as he did man.

Interestingly, the only references to dinosaurs being a lie from satan both seem to be from atheists. The believers seem to be attributing them to God, not satan.
No, I don't believe the dinosaurs were any kind of test (either from satan or God), and I think the percentage of theists who do believe that is very small.

The fossil record is emprical evidence at it's acme.Try as they might to manufacture the illusion of evidence (bible) Theism has no equivalent watershed/smoking gun to lend it credibility.

People are confused...they think the discovery of dinosaurs contradict the bible, but they don't. It's the preachers and ministers who teach the young to disregard anything that has to do with science. They teach them that the existence of science is to disprove the bible, but that isn't true either...

Believing that dinosaurs walked the earth for millions of years is easy. Believing that Satan exists is hard--in fact, for me, impossible. (Ole Dino was one mean and hungry critter, and if he hadn't become extinct, we humans wouldn't be here, our kind would have been et.)

I heard both "the bones were put there by Satan to deceive us" and "the bones were put there by God to test our faith". I wish they'd at least make up their minds about this.
