Well, first of all, your faith is between you and God, not between people in general. This life is like a test, you are here for a purpose. There is a God, because how did you get here, did you just pop up out of the ground. Well, you mgiht say, my parents gave birth to me, but wasn't that a life giver. See, all life comes from a life giver. God was the Master Engineer, the life giver. If you can imagine darkness, nothing at all, like it was in the beginning, and then there was everything, and eventually man. Man was the ultimate creation by God.

We all have a purpose, but we are all like fish swimming in a big bowl. You are gonig to have the bully fish, the nice ones swimming around minding their own business, and others that will hurt another fish, bite them and all. Well, we are like that, we are all different and all are not believers in God. God did not want us to have a bad life, and created a paradise for all his creations to live, but man chose to disobey God, and did the one thing that God asked them to not do, and that was to partake of the tree of Life.

Eve allowed Satan to tempt her and she fell for Satan's trick and therefore God said things were going to be different now. They were removed from the Garden, and placed outside to fin for themselves. This was the original sin, and so man chose sin, not God. If our life is a test, then it is a learning place as well. Not everyone has learned about the Bible, and it is easier to just say God does not exist. There are the 10 Commandments which are hard to follow, so just say it does not exist and a fairy tale. Can you look in the mirror, and if you see yourself, as a human being, then you must admit that you are the proof of God.

People who are of this world, will be mean and on drugs, because they have not given themselves to the Lord. God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to earth to suffer and die for the sins of man so we could live in Heaven with God and have an everlasting life. If you are a Christian, which many are not, but claim to be, then you do not want to be mean to others, and cheat them, etc. Many are under the influence of Satan and do not even know it, you have to be you, and if you are a believer, it is between you and God, not between you and others.

He is your Father in Heaven, and you are just being tempted by evil, Satan, Devil, whatever, but God gave you free will, so that means you chose, so it is up to you. If you pick up the cross for Christ, you have nothing to lose, but your eternal life and soul. Just do not let others deprive you of what Jesus gave his life for, and that is your eternal life. Believe it, it is true. It is up to YOU to remind yourself of God. . .

It's good that you have come to question these matters, which are very important. Unfortunately, Christian authorities and preachers will give you standard answers that try to explain that suffering is somehow GOOD for us. What nonsense!

Don't be fooled. Random and arbitrary undeserved suffering and death of innocent people - including children and babies - is simply INCOMPATIBLE with the notion of a loving and benevolent god. It only works if God is just not interested in our well-being.

What if you had been on the beach when the tsunami came on Boxing Day? Is it possible that everyone who was drowned that day deserved it?

But this is, in fact, just one small item of evidence against the idea of a god. There is much more compelling evidence available that shows that gods are not necessary to explain the world we live in. Gods are simply not needed for the world to be as it is. Once people thought that disease was caused by divine curses. We now know that it's a matter of bacteria and viruses. Over time, as science advances, all the other events that people used to believe had to be God's work have been shown to be natural processes.

You can give it all up, and start living in the real world.

Good luck,

CD

What was it that drew you to your belief to begin with? Is that still valid in your life?

Begin there...

I cannot claim to know why the Gods allow suffering unless part of it is to strengthen us (which is I suppose one of the "typical" answers)

I do not think that the Gods have stopped revealing themselves to us, although I do not look for "signs" of their presence there are times that I simply feel them.

I try to be kind and remind people of the possiblity of Good in the world, but I am only one person.

I hope this has helped.

Concern yourself with the approval of others and you become their prisoner.

Your faith and belief is yours, and yours alone. If it follows a book letter for letter, so be it. If it is a personal and deep relationship with something only you believe to exsist, but makes you a better person, that is fine too. I cannot offer you stability and tell you to read a book or pray, but instead I ask you to look into yourself and form you own opinions on what is your beliefs.

When God created us, He did not intend for us to live a life like this. Right now His focus is on spreading the good news of His Kingdom before the end comes. In the book of Job, the Bible states very clear that most of this "natural disasters" are caused by our invisible enemy (SATAN). That is why the Bible urges us to persevere. When everything is made new again, we will all love each other the way it was meant to be.

it extremely is an age previous question that we could or could not at all be attentive to even after loss of life we could not at all be attentive to. in accordance to technological know-how, and Athiests, He does not exist. in accordance to religious types and human beings with faith, He does exist. in accordance to Agnostics, He could or won't exist. yet now back to the start, if He does exist, possibly sooner or later he will prepare himself or enable Himself undemanding to the human beings, or interior the Afterlife, through fact the Doctrine states, while you're solid then you would be allowed in Heaven while God lives. besides the shown fact that it is likewise obtainable that there won't be an Afterlife yet He nonetheless does exist for us to not at all be attentive to in any respect. Then there is likewise the theory that He does not in any respect exist nor does Heaven exist, it extremely is the Athiest theory of what God is. For myself in my opinion, i don't think of i think in Heaven, as much as i could unquestionably prefer to, there is basically not something in my recommendations which will enable me have faith that Heaven exists and there are Angels with white robes and peace for all the the remainder of your positioned up existence in the international time. besides the shown fact that, I do have faith there's a God, not the God it extremely is in photos with the white gown, long beard, halo, and each little thing else, yet some form of better entity that we don't be attentive to approximately and could not at all be attentive to approximately, yet i think there must be some thing accessible it extremely is greater effective than the rest, some entity that for the period of reality in all different words is...God.

I like the way M.Scott Peck put it by describing entropy as related to the human soul as the only thing on earth that does not decay or corrode. By this I mean it (the soul) goes from a lesser state of being to a greater state of being as it gets old; proving Devinne guidance

My other proof is grace. I believe all graciousness comes from God .

Prepere your heart to hear what God says in the pages of the written Word. The Bible tells of people having itchy ears, they only want to hear things they like, the Bible is not for entertainment, it is a two eged sharp sword to pierce your heart. Meaning that you would learn from God and not from atheist and agnostics...

Maybe God exists, maybe He doesn't...I don't think He does. But that's really irrelevant. The question you might ask yourself is, "Do, I really want to believe in God?" And if you do, the next question might be, "Can I believe in God?" I wanted to, but found I couldn't. I think a lot of the Christians I talk to could no more cease believing in God than they could cease believing in gravity. It just seems that obvious to them. But it's the other way around for me. I could no more believe in Him than I could believe that apples fall away from the ground when you drop them. It just seems that obvious to me. My point is, my suffering over the problem ended when I stopped trying to make myself believe something I couldn't. That's all I got, hope it helps.
