it is really awkward. I just have to keep saying to myself "He likes Kayla He is your friend. What are you complaining about? You get to hang out with him like ALL the time!!!" but it isn't working!!! :S

Also what if he finds out? Then our friend relationship will... well, it will go bye-bye.

Only because you guys look at it in a classical sense. See what people of our culture don't realize is friends becomeing lovers is a NATURAL THING! The only thing that really ruins the friendship is that you can only really have TRUE LOVE in that situation, but all people know is ROMANTIC LOVE which well destroy a friendship, simple because friendship is based on a REALITY, while Romance is based on a FANTASY! Its this fundemental tendency that put us in the situation you found yourself in now. You want the fix? It means growing up, it means understanding this world beyond your peers, it means being indepentent, it means knowing the truth! That in the end we love everyone because love is nothing more then the emotion that DRIVES us to FEEL, the feelings we can feel are individual, infinite, and individual. What this means for you guys is that the more time you spend with each other being friends, being honest, being there for each other, the more you'll feel and the more you'll love each other, its a natural thing, it is our nature.
