why is everyone in the r&s section so ruthless?? ive had friends come here for a kind gentle word only to be attacked by christians and athesist,please let me know if ant of you are friendly?

There are a lot of friendly people here. But some tend to react to ruthless, demeaning, sarcastic people who seem to enjoy degrading the beliefs of others, in like fashion. And unfortunately, some of the same type of ruthless rhetoric comes from both atheists and Christians.
But there are also atheists who, while they may not agree with Christians' views, treat their beliefs with respect. And there are Christians who disagree with atheists but respect both them and their views.
The best thing to do, is "filter out" the bad comments from the good, for with this being an open forum, you will see all types of people and comments here.
Remember, we sow good seeds into our garden, but weeds will always appear among the good plants. In like fashion, where Godly people gather, Satan will have his servants among them.

I am friendly. I think everyone feels attacked for everything they believe in. God gave us Free Will to do as we choose, He gave us a mind to think.
God says ," A soft answer turneth away wrath" Proverbs 15:1
God says, " Whosoevr shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
I am a Born again Christian and my dad is an Athesist. Faith is believing without seeing. Sometimes, everyone just has to be right, whether were wrong or not.
I would rather live my life like their was a God then to live my life like there wasn't one.
No matter what we believe, we will all stand before the Judgement Seat.

I would hope that I come across friendly. I am a Christian and I don't attack people because God teaches His children Love and forgiveness. Tell your friend that I will give her a kind word. I try to follow the leading of the Spirit and that is kindness, I want people to want what I have found in my Lord Jesus Christ. Peace Love all the things He gives to me I try really hard to give to others. I am sorry for her bad experiences. It is hard to keep hope when you are down and someone kicks you.God Bless you and keep you safe in the palm of His hand

I know this is how it happened for me, I started out friendly, kind and gentle but, after being told I was going to hell because I believed and worshiped satan for the gazillionth time, my patience wore a bit thin. I don't like who I am some times on here but it's usually in response to someone equally, or more, 'ruthless' than I'm being.

The same reason they where so ruthless inthe chat rooms with us for 10 years is the same reason they are in here doing the same thing, the question is why doesn't Yahoo do anything about it... oh ya its called YAHOO for a reason..

I have not seen this, so tell, of what faith are you? I think the Christians have been very patient and kind with their words. If you are saying out on the streets, I cannot vouch for them. However, there is always someone, or you might say, a bad apple in the basket somewhere.

Well we Muslims always are kind with these christians and athiests,... but some of them are very rude, they don't respect others religions...they don't even care about Jesus christ.
I am not complaining all CHRISTIANS , i said some of them.
they sometime give answers which is unworthy to see...but most of the christians are good.
Users Like 00000 and fireball etc are so rude.

There's always gonna be friendly and unfriendly people everywhere you go. You'll always recieve negative comments from someone no matter what, it's best to just ignore them and respond to the ones that are logical.

I try to be friendly, although I can get forceful when someone seems to be willfully blind to what I believe as a Hellenic Pagan.
I have more patience for an honest question than one meant as an attack.
I am not perfect, just trying to improve.....
