Strange dreams?

Okay i take Elavil for my migraines and also to help me sleep but I noticed that when I forget to take it at night I hardly get any sleep and the strange part is that when I do get a little sleep I have very strange and vivid dreams but the weirdest part is that in my dreams I have this very bad taste in my mouth and this happens every time I don't take Elavil the dreams are never the same though they're always different but in all of them I have this awful taste in my mouth. The dreams are very strange but like I said, the strangest part is that I have this terrible taste in my mouth. What the hell does this mean?

Off hand, I would guess that the strange taste is a side effect, even though you aren't taking the elavil that night, it is likely that some of it remains in your system, and perhaps the strange taste is a side effect indicating that the drug is wearing off or working it's way out of your system.....

If the elavil works, take it. Otherwise, quit taking it. Elavil changes the chemistry of your brain. By taking it and then not taking it, you are messing up the chemistry in your brain. Take it or don't. I have been lowering my dosage all year to get off it. If I taper too fast my back locks up and I can hardly walk. Be careful with it. It can have good effects or bad effects. It has never done anything for my migraines, so count yourself lucky if it helps yours.

I was at this odd, yet beautiful house with a few random family members. The house had a steep front yard with rocks and a small flowy little stream down by the bottom, parrallel to the driveway. the yard had the most beautiful plants, like forrestry you'd see in the woods, and all of the plants had a redish color. And the inside of the house had the most marvelous dark wood flooring, and the most decadently colored cream walls. Like the most perfect place in the world. I walked in, and my aunt (Fathers sister) and her husband and sons were there. We were hanging out, i for some reason had a swimsuit on and went into a back room to change where i noticed a cream colored laundry hamper and just stared at it.. and my cousins started like wrestling or something odd. Then in the next part of the dream i was standing in the middle of the front yard talking to my other cousin on a cell phone(Mothers sisters daughter) and telling her "I care" I just kept repeating that for some reason. Then it started raining, and i kept trying to talk but the phone kept cutting out, and i lied about something. I can remember at the end of this part of the dream feeling guilty about lying. Then by some odd means i end up at my home. I'm standing in my garage, and tell my mom i want to go get some food. But it's midnight, and dark, like pitch black, and there arent any stars in the sky. We get in the car to leave, we turn the corner to head to town, and i change my mind. She got annoyed and as we were fighting verbally in the dream, i woke up.
