I have this problem with my boyfriends parents everytime i parks my car on a public road outside there house (old bus stop) they start on my boyfriend to move it . I told my boyfriend that i pay road tax and that its my right to park it on any road i want as long as its not private. I dont see the problem because they never park there they have there, they have there own drive.

no the road is for everyone i checked they wont let me on the drive because its to much for them to keep moving there cars when i go out.

Let it be their problem and just ignore anything they say about it. This is about them trying to control you and seeing if they can. If you allow them to they will then try other ways to control you. If your boyfriend agrees with them or makes a big deal out of it Id say you need to look for a less controlling guy to be with.

Is there some sort of parking issue on this road with everyone or just with you? And they don't want you parking on their driveway: Sounds to me like they just don't want you visiting their house.
You need to evaluate if there is something else wrong here or if it is just a parking fetish they have. Ask your boyfriend if his parents have some sort of problem with you (he might not admit it if they do, though). If that doesn't work you may just have to have a heart-to-heart with Mom and Dad to find out what is really the issue.

Have either of you ever asked the parents exactly why they don't want you to park there? Telling you to move without explanation is being very controlling. If it causes that much trouble, maybe he should just come to your house to visit.

in some towns they have a law about parking on the side of the road maybe they have the same restrictions
my question is why don't you park in their drive or pick him up and go somewhere else?

What does your boyfriend say about this? I would not go over there. If they have a promblem with everywhere you park your car that may be their way of saying they have a promblem with you. Have your man talk to his parents and maybe start having him just come to yours or meet you places.

You have issues. It's there house. Respect there wishes. I'm sure they have their reasons.
1) Neigh bores frown on it
2) Use the driveway
3) You may be parking in the wrong direction

Hmm some ppl are just funny I suppose. Look there you bf parents just do as they say treat them as you would you own parents, just be respectfull of there wishes.
I know not alot of woman are like this anymore but honestly there his parents you have to do everything possible to get along with them and make a good impression, regardless if you like them or not. see your relationship with them effects your relationship with him. So just let it go it is no big deal just do as they ask.

you know what it will get worse before it gets better you really need to find another person that is nicer to you and the family really doens't matter but sometimes it does help to have them like you so try and move on and don't stay with him.

They are controlling. They'll never get over that. If you want to be with him you have to decide if you want to be with his family. Relationships are a package deal.
