by the way, i have 2 other pet rats (hairless ones) that he will be living with once he is through with the quarantine phase, and their names are Jack and Oreo!!

Aww, he's cute! One of our girls is a black hooded & the other is hairless ;-)
I like all the names you've listed, esp. Simba & Munchkin. Your new guy might 'tell' you his name if you get to know him for a bit. Something about his personality, mannerisms etc. might inspire a name, or make one that you've already listed seem to 'sing' for you more than the other names.

Just saying really think before you go and get pet rats also you might want to get 2 boys instead of girls. All six rats that i have had are females i still have 2 but the other four died and they didnt have pleasent deaths, i wont get into deatails but when you have such a bond with them and then seee them die in ways it is very sad and you blame yourself for not doing more bfor them. Famale rats often get tumors, theres more than one but the most occuring is the mamory tumor, one of my rats currently has one and its about the size of a baseball im trying to sve up money to get it removed but it just keeps growinr and surgery is dangerous and expensive anywhere from $150 to $300. Males are usually more willing to sit still and be pet and have less chance of getting tumors and also be carefull where you get your rats from petstore rats usually have mycoplasma which is a fatal respitory disease it can be treated but will never go away. medicatoin will just lessen the pain and fierceness of the disease. I love rats and im not trying to talk you out of getting some but just think about the pros and cons thats alll. SORRY THIS IS SO LONG!!! SOME GOOD NAMES ARE: Nezumi (which is mouse in japanese) Aremi Laina Sammy Anata Brena Tsuda Callie Clair Saya P.s. Rats are great pets and great companions no matter what gender. they are smart live to play and love to have thier faces scratched kind of where their jawbone is. Just watch where they scratch and then scratch it for them they will love you forever! I really hope evrything goes well!!!

I like the name Kirby a lot.
A lot of times hairless rats looooove to groom the fuzzy guys. I bet they'll have fun. Rats are the best. :)

Your rat is really cute! I used to have one that looked like yours; his name was Bovine (because his pattern was sort of cow-like when he was a newborn baby).
I like the names Damian and Caribou the best.
