I'm planning to sear them on a grill, then when they're all seared, put them all in an oven to finish - also, what temp should I set the oven at?

cook to 140 degrees and let them rest a few minutes before serving. 350 degrees on the grill with the lid closed. Get youself a DIGITAL instant read thermometer. Oh my! Filet mignons medium? They are soooo tasty rare/med. rare. Do they have to be medium?
