There are insolated cases where parents have seen their children starve with nothing to offer. They made the decision not to simply come across the border but to risk their lives for the sake of their children. Tell me what you would it you were in this situation? Do not tell me what I already know. I know that the law has to be broken. I know that some feel that it would send the wrong message. GOOD, knowing all of this, Tell me what would you do if you were these parents? Forget La Raza and the special interest groups. Ultimately, they will not succeed. Be that as is may, take a good long look at your children and grandchildren, would you allow them to die if breaking the law would possibly save them?
This is situational ethnics.
I do not believe in amnesty or path to citizenship, so KEEP YOUR INANE RESPONSES OF HOW I WANT THE NATION TO BE OVERRUN WITH ILLEGALS!!!!!!!!!.

Show that the children would actually die as a conditional amnesty only for those already here.
I think you will get about 12 families.

Your phrase "situational ethnics" (sic) is unintentionally rather funny.
I think what's missing in the whole immigration debate in the United States is the fact that, if there are really 12 million illegal immigrants in America, a number that gets bandied about regularly, then removing them from America is going to be a massive disruption on an economic and societal level. There is simply no easy solution to this problem; 12 million people is 4% of the population of the United States. The Republicans are now making moves toward stricter enforcement of immigration policies, but that is largely window-dressing in an effort to gain some points with their base.
Your appeal to empathy is noble, but in the end, the sheer magnitude of the situation will force policy, and I just don't see how 12 million people are going to be rounded up and deported. That will drive the direction of policy more than anything, once American politicians realize that posturing isn't going to advance a solution to the situation or make it go away.

We understand that these people are desperate and poor and are trying to get better opportunities. But what about the consequences to American Workers. Illegal immigration has a negative impact on our own workers. They drive wages down and they take over industries. Just look at what has happened to construction workers. The illegals have come in, taken these jobs for much less pay and they pushed American workers out of the construction industry.
We know illegal immigrants have tough lives, but what about our own workers? Why are they being ignored in this argument?

How could you even consider lenience on illegal immigrants? When at the same time we must adapt our culture to fit their needs, and they are here against the law?
Want situational ethics? Two men commit the same crime identical in every way except one is an illegal who cannot speak English and the other being an English speaking citizen. The citizen is sentenced to death, but the illegal is set free because a translator could not be found in time for a speedy trial. Now what if that illegal raped and murdered children, but yet he is still walking free to do as he pleases. Now we are risking the lives of our children because criminals would have free entry into our country, now thats ethical.
Also we must consider the people who apply for citizenship. The people who take the time to learn the culture, but still may be denied entrance. While any illegal immigrant can walk in as they please with no prior work involved? Now isn't that a little contradiciting?

So you don't arrest them. They still need to be deported. If they only entered the country illegally out of absolute necessity to begin with, they'll have no problem returning to their country of citizenship unprovoked by ICE.

Why should we, the American people suffer while illegals destroy our country and economy? With that logic, we should also help the nearly 2-3 billion people around the world living in sub standard conditions. Do you honestly think our economy could sustain 2-3 billion suffering, ailing weak people? That would be national suicide. Life is unfair, people die from malnutrition and starvation. But allowing every suffering family into the US will turn us into a starving third world country and is not fair to any US citizen!

What they need to do is stay home and fix their own country, not come here to escape it. Even if that means turning their plow-shears into swords... Revolution can be healthy in the long-run.

Absolutely not.
They'll just come up with more sob stories than they have now.
Their Countries need to be more lenient with their own people.
And, we need to do away with those "Refugee" and "Asylum" programs too. They're full of scams!
