you take some hair in hand and run the comb or brush preferably down towards the roots till it sperates the hairs causing them to puff out then style while poking fun fun and laughing at them . like you think you're over my head haha thats the funniest thing I've ever heard you can't even part yourself without my help just kidding now but you get the idea

it means heightening your hairstyle you pick up clumps of hair and with a comb rub the comb up and down frizzing and knotting the hair continue to do this until the area you want heightened is done then with the comb smooth over the frizzed knotted area but, do not comb through, just smooth top and then spray with hairspray to hold down.... practise early in the week so you have it mastered by the weekend
