It happened to me again.
Anyway, how DO YOU cope with it??
Especially when usually your not 'given' ALL the info, just a few main messages through your dream to 'let you know' what will happen soon
It makes me nervous

Often? No. Fortunately.

I had one, a few years ago, and it was awful. I'm still suffering guilt from it.

What happened (in case you're interested) is this:

In September of 1999, I had a dream that my friend Tyler had been killed. In the dream, I went up to my old high school to see some friends. It was a beautiful day in early fall. Then one of my friends came up to me, and told me that Tyler was dead.

I woke up crying. It was SO realistic, down to being able to feel the fabric of what I was wearing, and feeling the sunshine on the top of my head.

So I started trying to call Tyler, to warn him. He had gone to Wyoming to visit family, but I left messages with both of his sisters and his mom for him to call me collect, that I NEEDED to talk to him. Either my messages didn't get to him, or they did and he didn't get around to calling me. I don't know which, and I haven't tried asking anyone in his family about it.

About two to three weeks later, it was a gorgeous day in early fall. I went up to my old high school to visit some friends. When I caught up with everybody in the courtyard, they seemed incredibly subdued, but no one would tell me why. Then one of my best friends came over, and told me that Tyler had been in a car accident, and that he was dead.

And this time, it wasn't a dream.

I don't think I could handle having another premonition like that. Especially if I failed to change anything.

So I feel sorry for you if you're having them.

The only thing I've had is revelations about the prophecies in the Bible, and that's the way I like it.

Its doesnt happen to me often because I dont remember most of my dreams, but It has happened to me quite a bit, I just accept it for what it is, If I believe I can change course somewhere along the way I try and do that, but more often than not it seems like destiny, that can't be changed no matter what. Yup, the brain can be pretty weird and powerful.

Depends on how you define "often," I suppose. It's happened to me many times (the American Society for Psychical Research even included me in one of their journals.)
I don't find there's much to "cope" with, however, but I'm not afraid of anything, either. Besides, not ALL of them are premonitions, so if I spent my life afraid of every dream I had, I'd die without having lived at all. I do keep a diary of them, however (among other, odd things.)

it doesn't for me. but my mom and older sister yes, my mom just tells the person (if its about a person) i think you should frist write it down in a book or tell some one... than look for the answers on your own time and see what the dream was about...

I do. But mine come in spurts and then leave for awhile. So far they have been fairly insignificant but I have had a few biggies. I'm overdue for another one. I love 'em!
