The reason being we fight. Constantly. And we have been for the past 3 months. We just seem to bring out the worst in each other. There's no question of love.. maybe the question of being "in" love, but certainly not caring for him.. it just feels like a lot of the passion has died.. he makes me feel stupid a lot of the time, and he doesn't trust me, so he ends up suffacting me.. I've never done anything to make him not trust me, and he's still paranoid.. I want out. But I don't want anyone to get hurt. I'm really close with his family and his friends.. so my question is, how do I get out of this relationship without hurting him or anyone else?

It is impossible to end a relationship without hurting people's feelings but it would be worse to carry on like there was nothing wrong. If neither of you are happy in the relationship then you owe it to both of you to end it and move on. Hopefully in time you can be friends but it doesn't sound like this is a healthy relationship for either of you.. he is feeling jealous and you are feeling suffocated... it just isn't working.

The key is to say this to him... to be honest and strong but considerate. You don't want to turn it into an argument, just tell him that it isn't working and that you think it's time for you to both move on. It's bound to be upsetting because 9 months is a long time to be with someone... you're bound to have feelings which aren't just going to go away but in time you will both heal and be the better for it...

Good luck!

why do you fight? Do you love him? Is the relationship worth saving? All these questions you need to ask, but if you don't see the relationship going anywhere I would end it. Yes he might be hurt, but it would be worse as time went on and do you wanna waste more time on someone that you don't love? Move on.

Either try to change things up in the relationship, like visting him while he is busy, or tell him you guys need to take a break, to see if you think the relationship is worth another shot.

no way to get out without hurting him/yourself/whoever. but if you need out by all means get out. just be like, all we do is fight and you don't seem to trust me. and i've never done anything to betray you. this just isn't working so i think we need to go our separate ways.

WHO CARES? After just 9 months, who do you owe any explanation to? It's your life you need to be concerned about, not everyone elses. Lifes too short. I hope this helps you get your head on straight-you are just not thinking right-think with your brain, not your heart on this one, this is your future you are talking about...
