You and a girl exchange numbers on some Friday, on the following Tuesday, she texts you and you text her asking her to call you sometime so the two of you can hang out. If she called you two weeks later would that be weird?
I'm asking because I want to call this guy to hang out with him but I don't want to seem desperate. It's been two weeks and he told me to call him but...would he still think it was a little weird that I called? Should I even call?
Also, what kind of things that girls do make them seem desperate?

no its not too late...especially if the dude was into you...hes probably waiting on you to call and probably bout given up on you...a call to him might could save everything....im sure he would love it..i mean he wouldnt just tell you to call him for the heck of it....after all he did just say "some time" he didnt say "some time SOON"....plus if youre too worried just tell him that youve been meaning to call him sooner you just been real busy doing stuff....im sure he will understand.....and on the last question you asked me...i wouldnt worry bout it if i were you....guys tend to not think about things like that...or the majority of us dont....like i wouldnt ever even think about whether a girl is being too desperate....it wouldnt even cross my mind...that is UNLESS you are like annoying...doing things such as calling him constantly....following him places....acting more like the guy then the female by like asking him out on dates and stuff( this has alot of exceptions though...if the guy is shy its alright...or if you do it every now and then and not ALL the time.....doing it ALL the time could seem very desperate if the guy isn't shy...but aso if you KNOW the guy is into you then it's also fine to be the more dominant one i reckon)......but thats just huge things....but somrething small just like calling him 2 weeks after you were told to call him some time isnt desperate...you aint got anything to worry about...but i hope things work out for you and i hope my advice was good

It's all about the frame of mind that you approach the situation with. There are some girls who will want to date you right off the bat, and if they show this toooo much in the beginning, then it doesn't really come off well. But you're not even at that stage yet cause you haven't talked or anything.
My advice is to call him. If there are some things you talked about earlier that you were both interested in, you could invite him to go do whatever together. But I really like it when the girl comes from a playful attitude and makes it fun for the both of us. Maybe you should start thinking about how you would approach the guy if you weren't romantically interested in him, like you just want to be friends. Then, you can slowly show that you like him as you hang out more. Hope this helps.

Don't worry about sounding desperate. I call girls soon after getting numbers. I see nothing wrong with being excited to meet them, and telling them that. Heck after 2 weeks they may forget who I am. Strike while the iron is hot. Don't act desperate ask interested. Good luck

Call him... I Know the feeling of hestiating to call someone, but its not as bad as it seems. You have no worries here. Talk to him like you would talk to your friend. Come up with things to talk about before you call him, so he doesnt get bored. He texted you and told you to call him sometime. Hint: He wants you to call. He would not feel weird that you called him. Also things that make you seem desperate is you calling off the hook. When you get off the phone with him tell him to call you tommorrow if he wants to. Dont say can I call you tommorrow just yet!

i dont think that sounds desperate at all....it would be desperate if you called him the next day or a few days after that. calling him a few weeks later is showing him that you arnt desperate to hang out with him and that you have a life. maybe call him a few days before you hope to hang out and make plans!

He will probably be glad to hear from you.
bug bug bug, call call call and want to know his every move with make a girl look desperate or offering to do anything so they don't leave, will that is the off the charts desperate actions for sure.

Better do it now, it's already been two weeks that's long enough!
Desparate things girls do? Act possessive to early, get to emotional quickly if the guy doesn't call or something. I don't think you have to worry about it if you've waited this long with this guy.

Well.. you can send him a text to intentionally ask him out, but after sending that text, send him another text saying that you texted the wrong number. That should arouse his curiosity and have him wondering whether it's an intentional text or an accident. Take it from there.

Just text/call him. Who cares if he thinks you're desperate or not. If he thinks you are and you don't like that, well prove him wrong by moving on.
