Hello there...

My question to you, fellow Christians, are you as surprised as I am at how many people hate on Christianity? People like to refer to us as weak-minded, brainwashed, etc... I don't know what's going on here, but seems to me like the end is coming soon... The world is killing GOD, like it was prophecized... What are you doing in your life to keep your faith and hold your head above rising waters?

Johnny, you are seeing the literal fulfillment of this Scripture:

2Ti 3:1 ¶ This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2Ti 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

2Ti 3:9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all [men], as theirs also was.

It doesn't surprise me at all. But I don't want to go around assigning some kind of victim mentality to it, either. I see it more as symptomatic of a general decline in manners and civility, rather than as an excuse to moan about how persecuted I am as a Christian. Notice that people on this site are also very rude to Muslims, atheists, Wiccans, Hindus, and just about everyone else. How do I keep my faith? I try not to stress out over the words of people I've only met online. I realize that my beliefs are mine, not anybody else's, so other people's opinions about them don't matter too much. I long ago stopped expecting other people to agree with me. I believe what I believe, and if others don't like it, that's their problem and not mine.

We are all one body and at times each of us needs to be lifted up. Have some friends lay hands on you & pray in the Spirit, in fact that sounds like a good idea for me right now.
However, I find even though I see the prelude to the anti-Christ and the one world govt with the mark of the beast on the rise, WE ALREADY HAVE THE VICTORY!
I remember the Word that 'He bore the burden looking forward to the joy that was set before Him' and so I just 'occupy' and grow. I believe as the world waxes worse and worse the Church will rise higher in Spirit and the miraculous will begin to spread also. In this day 'Those who know their God shall be mighty and do exploits' DA 11:32. God Bless.

I'm struggling in my faith because I got into a relationship that had a lot of lies along with it and it is so hard to get out of it because I love this person. One thing I'll never do is deny my Father. Change is something that comes and it sometimes comes slowly. I agree that the end is near. The only ones that are brainwashed are the ones who deny God the one who made us and the one who can destroy us. They become brainwashed by satan. Some think that sounds crazy but you can't necessarily hear his voice but he does pick at you and steer you away from God. Satan knows his destiny and doesn't like it one bit so he's trying to drag others down with him so that they'll feel the same thing he's going to feel.

Be not ashamed or slow in keeping Christ in your daily life. Use the love and mercy of the one true God as your guide. Focus on your spiritual growth. Rejoice in fellowship with other Christians.

Learn to pray. Pray with eagerness and anticipation. Talk with God at every opportunity.

Pray for others. Pray especially for the strength to forgive those who absolutely do not "deserve" forgiveness. Pray for those who are deceived and distracted by the many false gods.

Rejoice in the Word of God.

"Blessed are they who are persecuted because of Me." - Jesus.
So no, I am not surprised and almost enjoy being patronized because I love to share my faith and spread the Good News and that only proves Jesus correct; that we would be persecuted, mocked, and laughed at. Bring it on world; I am on God's side!

I'm not surprised. The Lord said this would happen. "Remember when they hate you, they hated me first."

It doesn't bother me at all. I have my daily routine with the Lord that is much more personal and important than wondering if this person or that person is upset with my religion or beliefs. My eyes and heart are set on my God and to me, He is that all that matters.

In His love,
j

You have seen one aspect of Christianity where people are so tired from religion. Otherwise, same segment is found in all other religion too.
