Ok, so I have been at this new job for 6 weeks now and having issues with my supervisor. She is very critical of me , today I got a lecture due to a typo in an email I had send to a co-worker in a different department to ask for some info I needed. The typo had no repercussions at all, I typed Claf and meant calf and they CC'ed her in on the reply as she may have needed the info too. While she tells me off about this for a good 15 mins this other girl in our team just sit there surfing bebo.com etc and she doesn’t say anything about her wasting company time!. She is friends with the other girl. I talked to my supervisors manager and all he said was that her ' behaviour was unusual'. This sort of stuff being going on for the 6 weeks I have been there - do I just give up and get a new job?.

Start looking for a new job cause those actions were simply out of line. It wasn't like your email was seen by customers or anything like that. Maybe your getting picked on because your new. Either way, no one in a professional setting deserves to be treated like that. It might be time to move on because I don't think you can "change" people like that. Good luck!

It seems this person is manipulating the employer pondering which you have been wisely desperate with the aid of the unemployment authority on your state as eligible for unemployment after providing the counsel. As Michr precise right here good factors out, he's totally incorrect, on the grounds that the counsel of the case have been formally placed on your want with the aid of the reality getting to appreciate judge. I understand you opt for for to help somebody that could progression out of your help as you're transforming into the genuine data you utilized on your very own innocence. It additionally seems your historic boss is likewise manipulating the reality to maintain her abusive potential to be domineering over others. What you will have the potential to do is deliver nameless digital mail to her supervisors with counsel and data to steer away from this from continuing to wreck others which would be risky to others wellbeing that has now not been bumped off.

I would say that your first step would be to bring it to your Human Resources department, if you have one available. Their whole job is to deal with things exactly like that. Alot of times, your manager's manager isn't concerned with what basically boils down to an interpersonal issue, but HR is.

If you don't have an HR department, I would say that your best bet is to bring it up to the one above your manager again and let him know that you feel what is happening to you is borderline harrassment. That will get his attention.

Past that, you just have to weigh how much you value your new job against how much you are willing to put up with.

Good luck!

If you really want this job then don't let anyone or anything get to you. Be determined to stay. Continue to have your head down getting on with the job. Do not compare yourself to anyone else or be critical of anyone else. You are only responsible for you. There will always be someone you don't like or who don't like you in a job. So what! You are there for the paycheck.

Yes, I would. Why take the abuse? Start looking, and when you get a job offer in writing, give notice.
