Males don't come into heat. Once sexually mature they are fertile all the time.
Since your female is desexed she will not put out a scent to attract him and he will likely leave her alone. Until you know he is trustworthy though, don't leave them alone.
Or you could just neuter him and not have to worry!

A six month old puppy is trying out his hormones and will try them out on anything, even a cat if you have one. he will get over it if you treat him right. As he is a half breed I do not think you will be breeding him but I do ask you to wait a while for him to grow and have him neutered at about a year to 18 months old this is more brain than hormones as he will have a personality all his own then and it will not change.

Do you have a clicker or some chimes if you see him getting ready to go to the girl or if he has mounted her click and say off he will get used to that and you can also use the clicker in other training ways.

I have three dogs the oldest ***** is neutered and the boy and the girl always bonk her in play.

Can you check your girl out for any discharge in any way and if she has any take her to the vet.

no longer something you're able to do whether you neutered him in the present day he will nevertheless have an interest because of the fact it takes a jointly as until the hormones are out of the structures. And while an intact male has met a bi tch in season, the habit will start to alter right into a found out behaviour, my neutered male continues to be attracted to canines in warmth yet no longer as fascinated as different adult males and he has replaced into neutered 4 years in the past. Have a chum watch one among them for you, and neuter your canines if he's no longer meant for breeding.

Since she is desexed, it is probably a dominance thing. Males don't go into heat. At six months, he is now larger than she is, and he is testing her authority. When you are away, I'd seperate them, either crate them, or leave them in seperate rooms with the doors closed. When oyu can supervise them, let her kick his butt if she chooses to. You might consider finding someone with an adult female of his breed that is desexed. Let her teach him a bit aobut respecting a lady.

Male dogs don't "come into heat"!! lol Us guys are ready to go anytime. And I shouldn't worry about him doing much to her. Since she's not in heat and never will be she'll tell him no and he will get the message. Now that he's six months it's time to have him altered. Make an appointment as soon as possible.

Your male dog is coming into heat? That's interesting.
He will start lifting his leg all over the house and start bothering the female even if she is spayed. If you don't plan on breeding him to a different female, you should have him altered soon. He will be easier to care for and not mark all over the house as badly if he is altered. After he is 7-8 mo old you loose out on the best benefits of altering.

Hehe, male dogs are ALWAYS trying. Still a ajck russell and a lab, id like to see him try. He may try, but due to his size etc he is going to find it pretty hard. Besides, feamle dogs can be aggressive when it comes to that, she might nip in in the heels a few time and he will get the message.

Its a good idea if your not going to breed your dog to get him neutured, apparently its proven that fixed male dogs wander less so are less likely to get lost.

HUH?? What are you talking about?? Males don't come into heat?? You better get him neutered if you think males come into heat.. He will NOT want to have his way with your spayed female.. She needs to be in season and smell like a female in season in order for him to have any interest in her at all...

If she is neutered.. Have no fear, he is not going to do anything to your female.. SHE will make sure of that... Hahaha... He won't try and have his way, he can't smell anything that would make him want to breed her..

Your male dog is already a few months past due for neutering. You need to get him fixed NOW.

Male dogs don't go into heat, they are ALWAYS "in heat", so to speak. He'll be having his way with YOU if you don't get him neutered.

Male dogs DO NOT come into heat. That is a term used to described the fertile period of a female dog.

If you are concerned about your dog's sexual maturity, behaviour and his health get him neutered now. Make the appointment for tomorrow!!
