You forgot to add "bear" after Panda. So, would you want to hug a black bear or a brown bear here!! Although panda is not part of the bear family but it's still huge and very territorial. It's about $50 plus sanitation fees based on your weight (scoping up your remains). Before they let you hug a panda bear, you need to sign a wavier to hold anyone at the sanctuary harmless and it is at your own risk to hug a panda bear. Then you're required to scrub and clean your self to prevent transmitting any diseases to the pandas. Additionally, you're required to get 2 rabies shots as a preventive measure in the event when a panda bites you, you will be protected.
Good luck

Hey, numbnuts, how about hugging a lion? Or a tiger? Do you actually realize that Great Pandas are not only wild animals, they're also freakishly strong and they'd rip you head clean off? Most of all they're an endangered species and in China you'll get capital punishment for killing a Great Panda. I know you "just wanna hug them" (the dumbest idea I've ever heard about in my life) but I strongly suggest you leave these animals alone, man has wrecked enough havoc for these poor creatures.

You can have a photo taken with a Great Panda or a Red Panda (looks like a dog/squirrel) at the Panda breeding center in Chengdu, China.
Last time I was there, I heard that it costs RMB120 for a photo with a Red Panda and RMB600 for a photo with a Great Panda.

Hey Retard! A panda is a wild animal that can mess you up good. It has sharp teeth and claws and it can kill you. Why would you want to hug a panda? You are making a gesture to attack this poor bear and are going to be upset when you or a loved one is a bloody mess on the floor

You can go to Sichuan province where the Panda Bear habitat and sanctuary located or just go to the Chinese Zoo where they have Panda Bear in it and ask the Vets of the Panda Bear if your allow to give them a hug. for a cost I don't know because We only see them from a far in the public zoo here in china. they might allow you to give a hug to the Puppy same like those Orang Utan in Indonesia.

Actually you can, if you visit the Panda Research Institute in Chengdu. There are tens of pandas in the park, there is one area with one or two in there for visitors to take photos with them. You can carry the small one on your laps. It costs 100yuan(?).
