Because babe, in this world many women and men lie about nearly everything. So no one is all that sure if someone is telling the truth or not. And usually there are enough women out there that lie so well that the guy doesn't know rather to be mad or not. That confusion makes guys mad and feel weak. They don't like that, so they just say that women are lying all the time. Just gives them more of a reason not to trust us. And you already admitted a bit there that you don't always tell the truth. So he has a bit of good reason not to trust everything you say. I'm working more on my honesty now as well. Not perfect but at least I know when to lie and when not to. And definitely not do it all the time.

We've been hurt in the past and lied to, when the girl said they weren't lying, and then we busted them later on that it was all a lie. I know that sounds redundant but think about it. If every boy you knew, lied to you, about major stuff, wouldn't it be hard for you to believe what new boys say.

So you are personally acquainted with two guys with a predisposition to perceive girls as deceptive, and from this you extrapolate that every guy on the planet thinks the same way? You are right, however. All guys are liars. All girls are too, though.

Do you wear makeup? Or dress to alter your appearance in any way? Then you are being deceptive and therefore lying. So tell me some girl who doesn't do at least this much in the way of lying as the norm, and then doesn't continue on from there.

Probably for the same reason that women seem to think that all men are out to cheat on them.
It's stereotypes and labels that get affixed to genders. Sometimes it's true--sometimes it's not.
If your man can't trust you..and if Steve can't trust his girlfriend--then really--what do you have? A relationship built on what? Certainly not trust. Ask them why they think women lie--that might help you out some.

It doesn't depend if the person is him or her...
Its the confidence of that person, and the security in him/her/self. The deal here is that, if you don't feel secure about your self, you're gonna develop a tendency that the other person, in this case, your couple is the one who lies to you... This is due to the fact that you don't have confidence, which leads to don't trust in others.

Huh? I thought girls thought all guys were liars. Your making a general statement about guys that really isnt true. I think you need to talk to your friend about his trust issues cuz it sound like he's the only one who thinks girls lie.

"i tell the truth always well almost always and so does Steves g/f." Almost always means that you lie as does Steve's girlfriend, and therefore are both liars.

Because perhaps the times he did catch you lying you told your lies as convincingly as you told the truth, so now he can never be sure.

Guys and girls all lies. Girls just tell big lies, like: I'm pregnant! And it's yours!
