Everyone is so excited about you getting married thay all want to take part! And I am assuming this is your first time getting married and if so, everyone will always tellyou how they think it should be as if you have no opinion or smarts. But they arent doing it to hurt you- just trying to help!
If you want a totally traditional wedding you would have to go with the wedding march (here comes the bride). But you DONT have to be traditional. You can have your favorite song if you want. I picked an old song from the carpenters. It was wonderful to listen to as I gracefully strolled down a spiral staircase to meet my hubby to be! YOU CHOOSE because it is YOUR day. Be grateful for peoples suggestions, and then make yourself happy with YOUR choices.

I walked down the aisle to "You for Me" by Johnny Gill. It was the song used in the wedding scene on Tyler Perry's Madea's Family Reunion.

Everyone is going to have something to say about the wedding, but remember, you have the last say so.

Everyone seems to forget that it's the bride's day--they're so very excited for her that they want to be involved...too much so! Tell them it's your day and to back off. :)

Um...if you don't want to walk down the aisle to the traditional wedding song, maybe you could do it to "At Last" by Etta James. My brother's wife used it as their first dance at their wedding--and it was just too cute.

Congratulations on getting married! Enjoy your day!!!!

These are some of the songs I like:
Love of my life by Brian McKnight
Spend My life With You by Eric Benet and Tamia
From This Moment by Shania Twain
Ribbon in the Sky by Stevie Wonder
Here and Now by Luther Vandross
So Amazing by Luther Vandross

Whatever you choose on your day I am sure that it will be the best selection. Best wishes to you and remeber no matter what it is your day so do what you want and not what others want you to do.

Everyone wants to have their say in a wedding - that's why they try to influence the bride.

As far as what you walk down the aisle to - try Pachebel's Canon in D... it's beautiful

Its your wedding, not theirs. Do whatever you want to do. I dont know why people feel its their place to make that decision for you or try to steer you towards what they want. Just forget them. Its your wedding. About the song... You can use something that ties to a nice memory of the both of you together, like the song you were listening to on your first date, or when he proposed.

I used Pachabel's Canon in D. It is absolutely beautiful and most people really love that. I knew right away that is the song I wanted and I never let anyone tell me no. I hope that you will at least listen to this even if you don't decide to use it. Best wishes to you for a long and happy life!! :)

Because they want you to be happy and think that they absolutely know the best way for you to be happy.

Do you have a favorite song? I chose a song I'd always liked and it was very different but still appropriate....just an instrumental version and then the pianist sang it when we signed the license.

i would say walk down the aisle to what ever song makes your heart flutter you would know it when you hear it..... the very song that reminds you of you and your fiance. a few good songs would be lost in this moment with you by big and rich, from this moment by shania twain, my valentine by martina mcbride. or just the acoustic version of butterfly kisses. I have a good taste for music and would love to help you with you decision. and the reason so many ppl are so head strong on trying to pursued the bride on their own decisions because so many ppl want to be involved in your special day, as in your mother would appreciate the memory of helping you choice a dress, your sister would love the memory or helping you decide how to decorate the church..... they know its your special day, they just want you to have a wonderful memory of them on that day that you both can share. They know that the majority of your memories are going to be focussed around you and your husband...... they just want to be able to sit with you on your 20th anniversary and have you thank them for their wonderful decision on their special day..... yes its primarily selfish.... but with good intentions.
