When I was about fifteen, I took my little brother to a wal-mart around Christmas time to go shopping for our parents. (He was about four at the time) We were standing at the door, waiting for the greeter so my brother could get a smiley-face sticker. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a little person coming through the door. All of a sudden my brother started screaming, "Look Nicole! Look! It's an elf! It's an elf!". I was so mortified that we left.

I took my wheelchair bound mother to Walmart so she could do some shopping. She had to use the bathroom so I got in line to pay and she wheeled off to the bathroom. The bathrooms were right in from of the aisle I was in and I heard what sounded like my mother yelling and screaming in the bathroom so I ran over to see what the problem was, almost knocking a few people over in the process. I went into the women's room and she wasn't there (I have to add the Walmart was jam packed)...I heard yelling from the other bathroom and rushed around the corner and there she was, wheeling out of the men's room, red as beat of embarrassment. She is a little aloof sometimes and I guess got dis-oriented...I felt terrible for her but was embarrassed myself for heading into the women's room and also having her do that - caused a huge commotion...she went in the women's room and I went back into line trying to hold back the laughter for the next 10 minutes....

My little sister was 3 years old. My parents had a little gathering in the house with some out of town friends. I was having a blast because I was seeing some friends haven't seen in a while. My little sister told me she was sleepy and to go to sleep with her - we shared the room at that moment-. I said no, I would go to sleep as soon as the people leave, so, she goes into the middle of the living room, sashes everybody and says: "We are very sleepy, can you please leave now?" My parents and I were so embarrassed!

When my son first started potty training he would just pull it out at announce he had to go potty. Well, we walked into the grocery store one day and right in front of all the cashiers he pulled it out and announced to anyone who wanted to hear that he had to go potty! I told him to put it away and that he would have to wait until we got to the bathroom. Was my face red. I have since taught him that it stay's in his pants until he gets to the bathroom.

In the public bathroom in the stall, changing my tampon. Mommy, what is that thing, what are you doing with it, why are you putting that stick in your bottom, why is there red stuff in the toilet, etc. So embarassing! At least it's the ladies room so they should have some understanding. :)
