If they mean well-*tell you you're a great friend; text message once in awhile; give you their new addy so you can stayd in touch etc- but they seem to be flaky about returning calls; answering their phone or replying quickly to messages-do you have friend like this?..or are you the type that won't stand to have people like this as a friend?..*How can I deal with a friend like this?..She doesn't just do it to me, she does to all of her friends, thats just her-but it makes me so angry and I've thought about cutting off ties with her, I can't deal with people like that, I know some people can, because they are geniunely good peopele, just a bit clumsy. *In my mind friends don't do that, but there are a variety of "friends", everyone has friend flaws, I guess this could be hers. How do I learn to deal with this?..I don't wanto cut ties with her, but at times I am tempted, as I don't like friends who do this.

That has to be your own choice-no one else can decide for you.

if this is your good friend before you cut off all ties see if she needs your help. maybe she really stressed out." whats up ?"

I dont always reply to txt right away, or answer my cell, but i dont mean to be rude to my friends, It just sometimes really stressful in this day and age, people expect to be able to be in contact with you at all times with all the moble tech .

I hear ya'. I have no patience for people like that. I won't be rude or ignore them or whatever but I don't go out of my way to keep in touch. If they don't want to keep in touch then, oh well. I'm not going to make all the effort.

You have pretty high expectations for your friends...maybe she has a demanding job, a family to take car of, health issues, money issues, etc... that take precedent over calling you. Life does that and good friends understand.
