I applied for a job yesterday which was introduced by my teacher. She gave me the employer's email address so I sent my resume there. Today, I called the employer and found that she didn't receive my resume. It turned out that my teacher misspelled the email address and my resume was sent to a total stranger!! It includes all my personal information like where I live, my phone number, etc... Is there anything I can do.... I know I don't ...but just asking for any good idea that could make me feel better...

My resume only includes my name, address, email address, phone #, my educational info, work experiences. That's all. Oh and no photos.

Ah people post their resumes online all the time. I doubt it included your picture but really with the exception of email address your info is in the phone book and probably scattered all over online.

Be proud of your achievements and if somebody else gets to read them be happy :)

If it's just your address and phone number, no worries. It's your SS number and financial account numbers you have to worry about.

I wouldn't worry about it. i assume that your social security number wasn't on it. The person who received it probably just deleted it, since they'd know it wasn't for them.
