It won't stop but steps have been taken to reduce the incidence. For example, if Church leaders are aware of a priest involved in a child molestation they are supposed to turn him over to the police.
There has always been sin, suffering and injustice in the Catholic Church, yet it continues to thrive after 2000 years. There has also always been saintliness and scholarship in the Church. This is a true sign that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are with the Church, as Jesus promised.

Child molestation has not "ended" among any large group of men you can name. However, unlike other churches and various other organizations, the Catholic Church is taking very proactive measures to address the problem of homosexual acts toward adolescent boys. Hopefully other churches, where the problem is no less common, will follow the Catholic Church's example in dealing with this issue.

it is assuming that #a million the catholic church has no longer demanded an end to baby molestation (despite which skill besides) and #2 catholic human beings have not made this form of call for the two. i think it particularly is something that they have got demanded. in spite of the undeniable fact that, stressful an end is particularly like the U.S. stressful that each and all of us human beings pay their taxes and be regulation abiding. no longer something evil will ever end. What ought to end is the prepare of celibacy. it's time to place to mattress that arcane prepare. forget inquiring for forgiveness by a guy. bypass precise to the source Himself. The Catholic Church must be ashamed that it may ever supply human beings the thought clergymen are those with get admission to to God. God is an equivalent-get admission to God.

Really very few of the many Catholic priests in the world have been tried for molesting children. It isn't only a Roman Catholic matter--the problem reaches across Protestants and other faiths. Believe me, if harming children was not a rare thing among Roman Catholics it would not have received as much media attention as it has. Fundies trumpet the matter less in concern for kids than hatred for Catholicism. Remember, hatred is a key factor among Fundies--without it Jesus wouldn't be loving them as much as they say he does. They possess great skill for demonizing human beings they hate--Catholics and other Christians, gays, liberals, Americans who have no taste for the Fundy desire to destroy our Republic and its democratic principles.

The molestation will not end, but the insurance might.
The Vatican recently announced that it paid over six-hundred and sixty million dollars in insurance claims over molestation suits.
The mere fact that they bought insurance for the "buggering bishops" answers all your questions.
Wherever there is religion, hypocrisy and perversion follow.

I hate that term (child molestation), you don't say a woman was molested when she was raped. So call it by the correct term child rape. Has it ended in the public? That should answer your question.

What bugs me is that for every Catholic priest that has been caught, there is probably a Protestant minister somewhere having his way......
To answer your question, as long as a person can proclaim themselves to speak for "God" they will always have temptation to abuse that power.Especially if they aren't allowed to have sex because of dogmatic rules.

Since the Catholic church really hasn't DONE anything substantial to end this perversion, I would have to say that I believe it to be continuing and certainly not ended.

no. for the priest whom did these things were just shifted
around. nothing was done. they weren't even deflocked.
the hell they caused will never be redeemed until YESHUA
does something about it. the true catholic church has
been deceived and great will be its fall.
