no, i've not given a thumbs down here. It's just opinion. I've not given thumbs down for an answer I deem wrong especially if I don't know the answer to the question. I only give thumbs down if the answer burns my eyes with bad words and images, or takes more than one page (but only for convenience of reading)

Kind of makes me feel like a kid. A nasty, evil little kid that is having fun. "Here, take THAT!" I mutter as I skillfully maneuver my cursor to the thumbs down icon. Sometimes followed by an evil little laugh like: "heh heh heh."

I only give thumbs down to arrogant or rude answers.

I have NEVER given a thumbs down but I couldn't begin to tell you How God might feel so I couldn't answer this question if I did give them. I too have come close to giving a thumbs down to rude and inconsiderate answers.

No, I do not give thumbs down for other opinions but for bad answers. I do not give many thumbs down anyways, I do not really see the point to it. Anyways, how would this make me feel like God. Are you implying that God does not put up with other opinions about Him. You are correct, He doesn't. God knows the truth and who is man to tell Him that He is wrong. Jesus is the only way. I never give thumbs down. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. But I must admit the temptation has been very great at times.

I don't give thumbs down for others opinions, I give thumbs down for stupid, rude answers that don't answer the other person's questions. And yes I feel like God.

I usually only get upset when I have a balance of thumbs up and down...
If I have mostly ups or mostly downs, I figure I'm doing something right :p

I give a thumbs down when the information is wrong (that is for fact-based questions) or language that may not be obscene, but is insulting

Not really. Maybe you mean that Yahoo staff allows us to use the thumbs down because we are gods?
Seriously. I give thumbs down in two cases:
1. When the answer is stating wrong facts (and I've seen hundreds of those in the languages section of the Spanish YR)
2. When an opinion is of such a moronic nature that it even is obnoxious (also seen much more often in the Spanish YR).
But if you dislike my policy, feel free to play you are god and give me a thumbs down.

It is not so much the opinion that gets a thumbs down it is when we find it inappropriate to the question that has been asked.
