Besides what been said already buy heavy duty type tubes. They may weigh a bit more but the thicker rubber isn't punctured as easily. Also think about getting better tires they're a bit more durable too.
The last thing you want is solid tires or tubes. They'll make your bike handle like a slug, I'd also think twice about getting Slime. Slime it OK for smaller punctures but you'll still get a flat from glass or a nail. Then you'll have to chuck the tube because the slimy stuff won't let the glue for a patch stick. Also slime clogs up the valves.

Excessive flats could be causd by a couple things. Check the tube. If the puncture looks like a snake bite, that is a pinch flat and is most likely caused by under-inflated tires. Inflate the tire to the recommended pressure embossed on the side wall. If the puncture is a single hole, it is caused by a sharp object. When replacing the tube, check the inside of the tire to make sure the sharp object that caused the flat isn't still in there. If the tread on the tire has worn thin, that could cause flats, too. Replace the tire if it's worn.
When you get a flat, you don't have to replace the tube every time, they can be patched many times before they need replacement. Check with your local bike shop for patch kits and pumps.

Sometimes it seems like all kinds of things are going wrong--it usually comes in cycles. After all that, you'll probably have some good luck for a while...I hope.
If you can't find a hole in a bike tire, it's probably a slow leak (can be the most frustrating). Take out the tube, put some air in it (not enough to explode though, just a little) and then slowly move the entire tube real close to your face...it's a lot more sensitive than your fingers and you can usually feel the air rushing out of a pinprick hole. You can also hold it underwater in a bucket or tub and watch for bubbles. Don't forget to check the valve stem--they can leak too.
If your tubes and tires are very old, you might just want to get new ones. Old tubes and tires get dry and weak. You might want to look into thicker, thorn-resistant tubes...I've had pretty good luck with them.
There are also air-free tires (these might be perfect for you). They usually cost a little more, are difficult to put on the rim, but once they're on you're golden!

With continious flats, completely take off the tire from the rim and run your hands over the entire surface. Because it's steel or aluminum on the rim, a chip or scratch on the interior can be the root cause. If the inside of the rim is smooth, then ensure you have a "rim Strip" that covers up the spokes. Having this will prevent direct contact with the steel spokes and the inner-tube.
Over or under-inflation could cause problems also. keep a close check on it.
Don't let the bike beat you, A happy bike will give you hours of good fitness.
ride on.

It's not you it's the tube.Stop buying the cheap Wal Mart type tubes. Buy a better tube, check the inside of the wheel to make sure that their isn't any thing that will puncture the tube on the rim. You don't need to spend more than $5.00-$6.00 for a decent tube. Most "good" bike shops will help you with this type of a problem at a minimal cost.
Good luck and happy biking.

i suspect the primary cause is stress - then when he doesnt perform this further adds to his anxiety - in young guys the primary causes of impotence are life stress and performance anxiety - so you need tot ake his (and your) mind off thr erection and more on just slow non penetrative pleasure until he gradually ragins his confidence if this doesnt work next up is a doctors check for physical problems also ED medicine can help get over performance problems yes occassionally biking may cause impotence if too much pressure is applied on the perinuem where the nerves supplying the penis lie - but this is less common rather than more common unless of course he is banging the bike!

slime, slime tubes and tire liners,
avoid solid tubes, you will hate them, heavy, roll on sides, got to cut them off to change tire. they are for people who dont ride much
I ride 3 different bikes here in the desert. Everything here bites and pokes. I have used slime thornproff tubes with tire liners and wear out tires before I get flats.
Look on the bright side of flats>>> they suck
