I felt and arm around me pressure and I was raped.. I fought it and woke myself up...I know it sounds completely crazy but I felt everything, an arm around my chest, and the force as well... when I woke up I ran and my husband was on the PC so I know it wasn't him...?? Why did this feel so terrifying and real?? How is it possible that things are so painful that it's too real?

Wow. What I am wondering about is if there was an incident sometime in your past, that maybe you blocked it out, and for some reason now it is surfacing in your dreams and asking to be looked at? Sometimes a traumatic incident can occur, that one can block it out to protect yourself, but it surfaces in the dream state later.... just a thought..... In any case, even if it is a manifestation of a stress in your life, it sounds awfully graphic, maybe it would be a good idea to see about finding a professional to talk to for awhile....

I am going to be completely honest with you.... and please do not think that i am crazy... I had a similar dream about 8 years ago. About the same time that i found out that i hit a psychic peak right before i go to sleep. Hun this was no dream and you should probably see a hypnotist as i did to explain the situation, You where actually violated by a trapped soul. Sound like a pretty violent one. Anyone that tells you that spirits are not real.... they have no idea what they are talking about. and further more anyone that says that spirits can not harm you is a total fabrication. it was not a violation of your physical body..... it was a violation to your spirit. This is a situation that you need to discuss with someone you trust..... it may not happen again..... but certain steps have to be taken. as ridiculous as it might sound, before you go to bed at night you need to say out loud.... you have no right to touch me.... you leave me alone. or to go to the light yada yada. one extra question do you ever get ready to just drift off the lucid time between sleep and awake.... and hear ppl talking and it jerks you awake..... if so you have the same problem i have..... easy way to resolve it..... start counting down from 100 slowly in your head with your eyes closed.... till you fall asleep. you cant hear them when you have something already happening in your mind

I don't know if you will understand what I am about to say, but your experience was very real. As a pastor, I have heard many women talk about this experience. In fact, there was a movie called the "Entity", which was about a woman who was being raped over and over by a unseen force. But it is a demonic force which is forcing itself upon you. The spiritual realm is real and angels and demons are able to make physical contact just like any other person. This experience does happen to men only differently, but in the form of wet dreams. Men experience women having sex with at night. The experience is so real, as if it were a real women. But if you have any questions just e-mail me.

Yeah that's a scary and disturbing dream especially since it felt so real.

I had one just like that when I started having fights with my ex boyfriend, and at the end of the dream I saw it was him.

He had a huge need to be right about everything, and we would argue about stupid things. Basically I felt he was trying to control me.

Really I think it was my fear of being vulnerable. I was actually raped when I was 13, which has caused me some trauma about my sexuality.

You may have trust issues about sex. Being raped is every woman's worst fear. Sex is an interesting thing. You can have sex to express love or hate and everything in between or even use it as a manipulating tool. Something triggered a small fear within you. You may have heard about a rape in the news or newspaper or even in a movie. Tell your husband how much you love him.

I am not belittling what you felt abut that dream but actually you had a nightmare and please do not dwell on it which just makes it worse and makes your life miserable over nothing that was real.

Get on with life-focus on all the wonderful things your life has in it and don't be afraid of going to sleep at night. Don't let this rule your life. It will affect, not only you,but your entire family and friends. Most of us have experienced chilling nightmares that seem so real at the time. We choose to rule them or let them rule us.

According to Dreamcrowd:

To dream about your own sexuality, signifies the secrets and meaning of life. You may be dealing with life issues of birth, marriage, and/or death. Alternatively, it suggests that you are concerned about losing your sex appeal.

don't know, but its a trip though huh?

i had a dream a couple weeks ago where i had to fight my way out of a situation, like a game, and i had to kill everyone else to make it out battle royale style... i was so scared but my instinct to survive was crazy, i was cutting peoples' throats but i could actually FEEL the knife going through their necks... it was very disturbing, i actually woke up and cried for a few hours after that one...

I had a similar dream and I looked it up in a dream encyclopedia. It said that 'rape' symbolizes that you feel threatened, like someone is moving in on your territory or space. Its strange though that it was a random person, mine was about someone close to me.
