You need to talk to someone in the Fish & Wildlife Department, and the State Attorney General's Office.
In general, a felon is prohibited from owning firearms. I do not know about bows.
However, you can apply for a restitution of your rights and have your right to own firearms restored, or partially restored. This is something else you need to discuss with the AG's office.
Good Luck.

You will have to check with your state. The problem here is that you have to make sure it is not against Federal law AND State law. I have never heard of bow hunting being restricted.
You can pettition your state to restore your rights and you wont have a problem IN that state.
On gun ownership. There are lots of conflicting things. for instance
Felons convicted only of felony "offenses pertaining to antitrust violations, unfair trade practices, restraints of trade or other similar offenses relating to the regulation of business practices" may lawfully possess a handgun under both state and federal law even without restoration of their rights. They may obtain a handgun carry permit, if otherwise qualified.18 U.S.C. ? 921(a)(20)(A).
Also federal law only prohibits you from possesing pistols (of any kind), centerfire and rimfire firearms. Which means that you could in fact hunt with black powder and not run amok of the feds. BUT it may still be illegal by your state.
Chances are that if you felony isnt violent then it would be very easy for you to pettition to restore your rights with your state attourneys office.

Bow hunting should be legal but you should contact your local g&f to be certain.
After 10 years you may apply for a govoners pardon, if accepted this is THE ONLY way that you can once again have voting rights and the right to bear arms

If you just checked to codes. I would pickup the phone and call local law enforcement or Courthouse and get directed to someone that can answer you directly. Nonviolent or not the wrong answer could land you in jail.
Yes, a bow is a weapon...

$10.00 a week sounds somewhat too extreme for me. you may desire to think of that as he gets older and has greater chores he will assume it to pass bigger and to be paid for each chore he does around the living house. For a six 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous you may desire to start up coaching him many of the failings he does are actually not grounds for an allowance yet undemanding on an well-known basis chores just to be accomplished. i does not make animal care, preserving his issues sparkling, or doing his homework component to the allowance. Now the greater issues like washing the floor and problems with that nature could desire to be somewhat of the allowance. that's a great time to coach him self accountability without watching for some thing for it. i could say between $3-$5 on the main.

You could always check with your Missouri State Parole & Probation Department. I'm sure they could tell you the answers with a simple phone call. If they can't tell you I'm sure they will be able to tell you who to contact. Good Luck!

With a bow, probably. With a firearm, no. I have no specific references.

You could probably hunt with a blackpowder rifle since they aren't considered firearms by the government.
