Even in high school and college...I can't seem to get more than a high B. I never liked science much anyway....lol.

I took environmental science and chemistry in high school too...and though I made a high B in the first...I made a C in chemistry cause I never paid attention in the beginning and got too far behind to catch up. bah.

oh and just to add another question, do you believe in creationism or evolution?

sharky, I'll admit that I'm curious to see what someone's science background is and their belief of how we came to be.

I earned my BS in molecular biology. I graduated magna cumlaude with a 3.59 QPA. I believe in creationism and some evolution. I believe in natural selection, and I am open to the possiblity of random mutations creating a more beneficial protein (obviously mutations in the gene to create the protein). I would imagine these random mutations are how alleles formed. The part of evolution I am in debate over is going from a lower form of life to human. It is quite complex, and I have never heard anyone describe that well enough for me to believe. I also believe God started everything with the big bang. I am one of the, what appears to be, few Christian/scientists who believe creationism and evolution can coexist.

I got B in biology (Grade 4), B in Chemistry(grade 3), B in Physics(Grade 3), C in English (Grade 6), B in French (Grade 4), B in Maths and add maths (Grade: Both 3) That was 2 yers ago.

Im now doing my A-levels and exams are in bout a month. I do Physics, Chemistry and Maths as Main subjects and Genral Paper and Biology as subsidiary . Hope ill be able to get at least a B or b in Everything.

I hated science. I only took first level general science. I passed with a B, but I was sick of studying how plants synthesize. It seemed like everytime I picked up the science textbook it was about plants. Ugh....

I wanted to learn real science, but I got sick and tired waiting for the school to teach it.

Instead, on my quest for the answers, and trying to figure out who the heck "Darwin" was, and what all the fuss was about, I taught myself.

I'm no expert, but I have a much better grasp, being self taught.

I believe in some ideas of evolution, I can't accept all, with my limited scientific knowledge, but I still read about them, and try my best.

1st - I believe in evolution.

I gave up most science classes when I was in high school except for psychology, but had a free spot in final year and choose Biology after not studying anything to do with that for a couple of years - ended up with a B+ 1st semester and an A 2nd semester. But it was studying things like evolution so I enjoyed it and was really interested in what we were being taught.

I made all A's in biology, but I am a biologist, though. I only got C's in chemistry, too. Chemistry is hard, especially to one that went on to receive a PhD in zoology ( I am an ethologist )

It is not about " belief " in evolutionary theory, young lady, but being convinced by the overwhelming evidence.

Currently a biology/anatomy & physiology teacher, so, I did pretty good in science classes.

I don't believe in evolution. It is the best natural explanation of the number and types of organisms on Earth now, so I definitely accept it. It has nothing to do with my religious beliefs.

Wellllll.... I consistently made A's on tests in school, but I never did my homework, so I made bad overall grades since homework was a big part of the grading for most high school teachers.

Homework bored me to tears, and seemed rather superfluous.

(Then I got to college and figured out why they made us do so much homework in high school...)

I accept evolution. Belief is not really the right word for concepts that are backed with evidence.

Not really sure why THIS question is here in R&S, but (to answer) I graduated highest honors, so I made A's in all but one course.

Yeah, I'm a nerd type.

Creation or evolution. Or "something else"? Or "sort of an odd mixture of the two"?

Or "it doesn't really matter since it doesn't affect my faith in the love and mercy of the one true God...nor does it affect the salvation of my eternal soul thru His Son, Jesus".

I aced every math and science course I ever took, all the way through my master's degree. I was mediocre on most other subjects though.

Evolution is testable and makes measurable predictions. I vote for that over ancient superstition any day.

I got an A in Biology and a B in Chemistry. In college I got As in Psychology and Physics. I always got A's in math and statistics, too.

And to believe in creationism, you have to believe in a creator. I believe the scientific method will indicate the best answers for questions about nature. And it results in the evolutionary explanations for the deviation of species.
