With military force in the last century? Sometimes I wonder, since we love to use military force against brown, little
countries that don't behave. And the Mexican President constantly bosses our's around. Truth is both governments probably know something we don't....and they probably
think we need Mexico as much as they need us.
What do you think??

The US government would need to have an excuse to invade Mexico. And the people who run Mexico are rich and white and speak English and get along with American capitalism. And they put money in US banks and invest in the US.

Edit Matt W No that was not an invasion by Pershing that was an illegal entry. ;)

We have: In the early 1900s (just prior to our involvement in WW1), Gen. Sherman led an armed expedition into Mexico to chase down and capture or kill the notorious, and infamous "bandito" Pancho Villa, which the Mexican Government would do nothing to capture for his raids and incursions into U.S. territory. (sound familiar?)

It was called The Mexican Expedition (I believe). One of the more well-known aspects of that campaign was the Seizure of Vera Cruz.

There was also the Mexican-American War of the late-1800s, around the time Texas gained its independence from Mexico.

The racists here are dying with a war with Mexico, but it's never gonna happen. You know why?? The American government knows something WE don't and that's that WE need Mexico a lot more the Republicans will admit to, and they will keep on kissing Mexico's a.ss. Well unless it's election time when they bash them to get votes.

Mexico has already been invaded by Americans in 1848.
They occupied Mexico City and took the northern half of Mexico's territory.

I think that we would just have that many more poor little brown mouths to feed. That's why WE haven't. Now they're invading us and bringing us down to their third world level. Well, I guess it could be worse I do love tacos, burritos, enchiladas, tomalis, and any kind of colored furry tacos! By the way I am THE ALL AMERICAN!!!!

I'm with you let's party, how 'bout a mezcal soaked fiesta?

we have invaded Mexico, in the past and since it was no contest why do we want to send our men down there ? we captured Calif, without even firing a shot, they surrendered sent up the white flag before our men even got close enough to shoot them, it was like taking candy from a baby, we would be ashamed to repeat such,

I think you're right. NAFTA and NAU...But we're on to them now aren't we? So now maybe we can quit hating on people and pull our forces together and fight the open border policy of NAU.
