The Holy Bible for the most part is a beautiful piece of writing....by humans. It has some good in it, some bad. I believe to take the bible literally is dangerous because people start to believe the book as a book of laws instead of a philosphical and belief system.

I believe that the Bible is absolutely the word of God, written by men under inspiration from the Most High himself.
No man's thoughts could have complied such a book as the Bible; man's thoughts are not that high.
There have been many books written, but none have stood the test of time and offered the instructions on living as the Bible.

The bible is indeed the word of God and in it there is the Law. Both the Law that regulates society and the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus that regulates regenerated believers of Christ inwardly.
The Bible is not merely some book. In it contains the mystery of God and His purpose hidden throughout the ages. As a believer the Bible is our spiritual food for nourishment to grow. We feed by reading and praying the word and enjoy the supply there as manna everyday.
The bible is also the Sword of the Spirit to attack all the lies of satan thrown at us.
The word sanctifies us in the truth so we can be strong in faith and able to stand for the Lord.
The word inoculates us from false teachings and doctrines of men.
Its our foundation upon which we stand and build our christian lives.
Its the seed of life that God plants into our hearts so that it can be watered and supplied, this word blossoms to be Christ growing in us.
I tell you sister. People may look at the black and white letters of the bible and miss the whole mark in underestimating the bible. But for those who can tap into what the word really is about ..for us it is the means to Truly LIVE in this world.

First of all, I thought you weren't going to use this to preach anymore. You said so in your last question. So, you lied.
Second of all, look at the picture you put up for yourself. That does NOT portray christianity.
Third of all, based on how you have presented yourself, I do not want to get to know your Jesus. If I have to act like you do, no thanks.

Joshua 1:7-8 Only be strong and very courageous, to observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest have good success whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Psalm 119:97-101 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts. I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
Psalm 119:103-105 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and light unto my path,
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not upon thine own understanding: In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 6:23 The Law of the Lord is a lamp, and its teachings shine brightly. Correction and self-control will lead you through life.
The Word of God is life to me.
Jesus IS the Word of God.
It is my only teacher, guide and source to my only true friend and love, my sweet Lord.
Peace!

Which version? Theres at least 10 major versions, and 100's of minor ones. Exactly which one is God's?
I need to know so I don't follow any of the rest, which by definition were defiled by humans.
