dojo: Let's keep things in perspective. Theories are none other than "educated guesses" but guesses none the least. Facts are another issue. Evolution is a theory currently, being rejected, all-the-more from the science community reference: Center for Science and Culture (CSC), www.dissentfromdarwin.org Herein, you will find out for yourself, what views, world Scientists from top-notch universities are saying. I realize, that there is a lot of false information flying around out there like evolution, which is held as the icon of non-believers. Opinion on theory of gravity ... like any theory, should it stand the test of time, it can very well be an accepted educated guess ! The "Big Bang" theory was presented by Catholic priests, who are Scientists ... this may be a factor in why "the church wasted no time in pointing this out" !

In the beginning there was energy which became matter in some parts of the Universe and matter became energy in other parts. Due to the storms, the temperatures and the enormous pressures and the laws of the universe Amino-acids and Nuclear matter formed.
Evolution happened. water came dinosaurs came germs came and even viruses came.
One of the forces of the Universe is gravity which follows the laws of motion- so does Magnetism.
The Bible and Church had nothing to do with these things.
They were concerned about the church, communities and religion and gave a new name to this energy. They called it God and said that it is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient. There is nothing wrong in giving a different name to the same thing. It does not change anything. The church accepts everything and has no conflict. It only gives it a different name than what the scientists call them and say that the gravity, electro-magnetisms are all the will and creation of God. The scientists say, " or no . it is the will of the universal energy." If one is confused it is because one is caught up in names.

A person can see the effects of gravity. Shouldn't a Christian be asking you this question? Atheist say one reason they reject God is because they can't see Him. So, I'll ask you if you believe in gravity, and electromagnetic. You can't see them any more than I can. I have never heard of such a thing as the germ "THEORY." As far as I know, there is no such theory. I know of no one that doubts the reality of germs. I doubt that most Christians accept the big bang theory. I don't. And , I don't see where it corresponds with Genesis.

You seem to be forgetting that Galileo and Nicolas Copernicus were Catholics, so was Father George Lemaitre who first thought of the primeval atom theory setting the universe into motion (they thought it was immovable and eternal)
It was this CATHOLIC Priest who went on Einsteins theories and came to the conclusion that the universe had a beginning and and ending.
Father George Lemaitre was the Father of the big Bang theory and It was Pope Pius the 12th who first said that these theories gave relevance to the book of Genesis.
Try to your facts straight, It makes you look like an idiot.

Stop getting so hung up on evolution. More and more Christians have come to the conclusion (myself included) that evolution has existed in some form. To accept that, I still don't buy into the theoretical notion that man is directly descended from early primates only because no known link has ever been found. If one was discovered I fail to see where it challenges my faith in any way. I don't put God in a man made box, His ways are His ways. So, don't go around labeling every Christian the same way.

because christians arent very good at admitting it when they might possibly, conceivably, potentially, maybe could have been somewhat wrong... maybe. admittedly, a lot of the atheists on this site arent either. on the other hand, a true scientist that understands the definition of a "theory" knows better then to put faith into something thats been scientifically proven false. when you give me a legitimate piece of hard evidence that says God created the world in seven days, then ill start to believe you. even now ive read about new discoveries that discredit the big bang theory, and i have my doubts now.

Your premise is improper from the 1st actual assertion (the rest is largely a rant) on account which you used the be conscious "continuously" in it. i be attentive to you don't get it, yet meaning if even ONE Christian or individual of the different faith, and basically one time, did not mistake what a "concept" is, it negates your argument. it could desire to marvel you to be attentive to that scholars at Catholic extreme faculties out-carry out their public college opposite numbers on standardized finding out, and function bigger expenses of commencement and school enrollment, besides. i assume possibly they achieve this by ability of not examining technological know-how, as between the greater stupid solutions on right here reported, yet I doubt it. The Theory of Gravity is no longer a theory. It is a scientifically proven fact. (Scientific proof is what is lacking for the Theory of Evolution.)

Gravity, it keeps pulling me down.
I don't consider gravity and the big bang to be on the same theoretical level.

I like mashity potatoes with my gravity ...nothing has ever evolved same old same old nothing new under the sun no one has ever learned from their mistakes and fossil evidence is merely the devils work designed to make people forget about walking on water and quit trying to turn that water into wine. electromagnets are tricks of the devil just like plasma TV screens so if you watch tv you better talk to JC and ask for his forgiveness or you will surely perish and go to hell!
if you touch his robe or get an autographed piece of toast with his imagine you might become an angel after you die of course .
