I have to fly from Little Rock, AR to LA, CA in Oct. I have flown lots of times before and almost every flight I get panic attacks. What should I do? I am so nervous?

I suggest taking a mild sedative or anti-anxiety medication like Xanax. It relaxes you, but doesn't knock you out. Your thinking is different; you just don't worry as much.

Two options. Find a psychologist or psychiatrist who does desensitizing therapy or get a prescription for Adi van that can be taken as needed before taking a short flight.

Go to your doctor and get some Compazine. it is a anti emetic, anti barf medicine you will so relaxed you will have to work hard for a panic attack. it works to settle your stomach. It also makes you slightly drowsy. You can usually get this from Doctors as a preventative measure. I can't fly without it as I am too hyper, with Compazine I'm not.

Hi! I, too, feel the same way you do.
I searched the net and came across an article called "Fear of Flying Help Course" at http://www.fearofflyinghelp.com. I found this quite interesting and it did put my mind at ease. Hope this helps you out.
