like when you want to make a mixtape but it sounds like more of a non-stop mixtape?

It's the player that puts the gap between songs. So you can't fix it from the MP3 side, unless you put ALL of the songs in a SINGLE MP3.

If you want your audio files to overlap......take this advice..

1.) Get yourself a Sound (Wave) Editor. Go in and crop out the blank spots at the end of the song and make sure that the file stops RIGHT where you want it to, and crop out the blank spots at the beginning. If you do this to all of your sound files then when they are played together - the blank spots are gone.

2) When you burn these on cd - make sure that you check the box ELIMINATE THE 2 SECOND GAP. The Record labels put this on cds as a standard. You can use your burner to NOT put the 2 second gap there... and thereby your songs will play back to back with NO gap.
