Ok the cinemark movies have direct deposting meaning the money goes directly into the bank and i have been working at the cinemark movies for almost 3 weeks and tomrow is thursday when i'am supposed to get it...if i don't get it..what does this mean..can i sue them or what?

Sueing people works if it is for enough money. You would spend more money suing them than you have lost.

If you don't get your money go through the following steps.

1. Tell your supervisor. Maybe he or she will spring into action and fix the problem.
2. Call human resources, and ask politely where your money is. Sometimes a new employer faces a delay due to administration glitches.
3. If you need the money right away, go sit in the office of the person responsible for paying you until you get the money (don't listen to the, you have to wait for the next pay period excuse).
4. Failure to pay is a criminal offence, you can call the police (though this is rare). Think about handing money over in a shop and they don't give you change. They have stolen your money. Failure to pay is the same. It would mean you won't keep your job for long.

Ask your accounting people on what's keeping them to give your pay. Get some explanation. If they cannot seem to answer you, inform your boss. Then, put your concern in writing and formally notify them that you have not been receiving your pay. After one week, if no action was taken, send a demand letter that you need your salary as agreed in your employment terms and conditions. Indicate the specific date when you should be paid. If still no action was taken, then go to NLRC and file a case for non-payment of your wages. Immediately after your filing of your complaint, your employer will receive a subpoena asking them to appear at the NLRC for a reconciliatory meeting. Then, state your demands to settle your complaint.
