Quite stressed with my life & the moment and still make mistakes even when I feel like I'm being very careful.

I just sent an email which referenced an attachment that was not attached. So then I send an email with the attachment.

Then I look and see an important email address not completed LOL. I tested the email & it opened up so I didn't take another look at it and sent it.

So, I had to fix that.

I made sure everything else was right (for god's sake) and sent a third email apologizing for the inconience and made a light joke about my brainfart (not in those words).

Don't know, just feel like throwing my hands up on this one. I should have really looked at each line hard... but I can take the lesson... esp. if they don't call!

Thanks for your answers. I think the whole situation would be less rich if it wasn't for something computer related... lol!

What can I say, sh(t happens. I've been dealing with computers for 15 years and it still happens from time to time...

Anways, thanks again.

You weren't applying for a computer tech support, were you? Otherwise, I think you'll be fine!

You're being too hard on yourself. Chances are they see this as normal stuff. E-mail is easy to screw-up so they've made similiar mistakes. I don't think it will be counted against you as long as the content was solid. Also, if the content was good and they can't see past the innocent mistake, then you might not want to be there. Of course that's easy for me to say as I'm not the one affected by all of this.

if it were me doing the hiring, your content would mean more to me than the mistake. I hope this helps. Good Luck to you.

Confucius said "When a gentleman makes a mistake, he immediately corrects it"

Life is about being perfect, it is about getting better and better. When we make mistakes we work to get it right. I have made many mistakes with emails, sometimes causing serious problems, sometimes fixed quickly.

Nearly everyone else I know is the same.

You have fixed your mistake and have a plan to be better next time. That is enough I think.

People do that in offices all the time- I'm sure your potential employer is used to it. If you have the right skills for the job then this little slip-up probably won't be too big of a deal.
