I just got into an argument where I had to defend the military.
the argument was "they take orders from others, so they are bitches.

Let's take a step back and analyze this:
US soldiers are trained to kill and carry weapons. They have to endure a grueling training regimen to remain in shape. They are asked to do everything for their country from delivering humanitarian aid to killing and dying. If that is a ***** to your friend, what does that make him?
It is a good thing I was not there. As a former member of the US armed forces, I would have had to show him who really is the *****.
Everyone takes orders from someone. It doesn't matter if one works for the man or they are an elected politician. If taking an order is considered being a *****, then that would make most everyone on the planet one. Your friend is officially an idiot.

but their job is to protect the rest of us and keep us safe...does that make the rest of us not in the armed forces pu$$ies?
