i Love Zeppoles (not sure if i spelled it right)
They're like funnel cakes, only in ball form
me and my family call them funnel balls
Just imagine a very dough-y doughnut with tons of powered sugar on top. YUM!!!!
I've seen it at a few street fairs but mostly Brazilian and Italian ones

In downtown LA or in Hollywood, late after a night of partying at a club, you'd be assaulted by the smell of sauteed onions and pork fat upon walking out of the establishment. Of course, a night of debauchery and dancing can work up an appetite, and the holiest of holy hot dogs are right there being sold on a street cart griddle. Bacon wrapped hot dogs and sauteed onions with some ketchup, mustard, and a bit of hot sauce makes my night worth the crazy cover charges and expensive booze. I'm salivating just thinking about it.

At State Fair time...it's either a corn dog or a leg of lamb sandwich. As for street fare...give me a nice big Polish sausage or bratwurst. Yummy.

Sausage sub sandwiches! Sold all around Boston in carts (Street meat to my friends, LOL ) Italian sausages with peppers and onions, all cooked together, in a big sub roll. SO good. (Generally late at night, after a few drinks I must admit, but still. . . )

I like the buttery sugary waffles "gaufrettes" that are sold in Paris from little carts. Also the crepes sold with sugar on them, though I usually get them with chocolate. Such a sinful treat!

Oh man! Gyros....
A soft pita bread topped with a sliced mix of lamb and beef, with fresh onions, tomatoes, and tzaziki sauce: a sauce made of yogurt, sour cream, garlic, and mint.
It is sooo delicious.
Other than that, tacos al pastor. Mexican spiced pork cooked with onions and a tiny bit of pineapple, put into tiny corn tortillas, and topped with onions, cilantro, lime juice, and hot salsa. YUM!

Fried clams, from the Atlantic Ocean. They were alive a little while ago, and then battered and fried and served in a little red and white box, still too hot to eat. When they are good, they are very, very good.
