there's a possibility that you may have a pilonidal cyst.

A pilonidal cyst is a cyst at the bottom of the tailbone (coccyx) that can become infected and filled with pus. Once infected, the technical term is pilonidal abscess. Pilonidal abscesses look like a large pimple at the bottom of the tailbone, just above the crack of the buttocks. It is more common in men than in women.

The symptoms experienced by someone with a pilonidal cyst include the following:

Pain at the bottom of the spine
Swelling at the bottom of the spine
Redness at the bottom of the spine
Draining pus
Fever

If it any of this sounds like what you are experiencing talk to your medical doctor about this.

if not see a doctor of chiropractic medicine . They are specialists in spinal problems and could help diagnose and treat the problem. use a doughnut pillow where there is a hole in the center to take pressure off of the tailbone. Also take hot baths at night with 2c. of Epsom salts to relieve the pain and pressure.

I've enclosed a link were you can find a qualified chiropractor in your area.
