My friends got hit by a car today around 6:00pm. and I was riding my bike with my friend sam to go to the park. When I see a pizza hut car just sitting in the road. I was staring at the car, when I realized my friend shannon was on the corner. The only thing that happened was it was a slow road for a turn, and the car didn't see her riding her bike down to the bottom of the hill. And so when he went up the hill, around the corner.. he hit her. She only has a scratch on her leg for falling off the bike but other than that her bikes messed up! He offerred her a free pizza from pizza hut and theres no legal action or what not but still since he offered her free pizza, is that bribing or feeling bad or what? shannon and sam and I are ALL 13yrs.

It's mostly feeling bad. I hope you got his information as well as a police report. It is always a good idea to get this information. if your friend does end up with other problems that are not felt yet Adrenaline does this to everyone) and she needs more medical help. it would be nice to have an insurance company to help recoup some of the loss. a friend of mine was in a similar accident a few years ago. He was pretty much the same way, just a bump and a few scratches. The next day his back hurt so much he went to see his doctor. found out the accident herniated a disc in his back. if he did not have a police report and the guys insurance information, he would of had to pay for all of the medical costs. hope everything works out ok for your friend.

The driver should have filled out an accident report - I would call the pizza hut and make them fill out one, depending on who was at fault the driver could get a ticket, and the pizza companies insurance should pay to get her a new bike. I would not settle for a free pizza - I am sure that pizza hut probably has a strict proceedure for this type of thing, as they wouldn't want to get sued over something like this - it could be a considered a hit and run even if the police weren't called to the scene of the accident.

Shannon's parent's should file a report. There should be legal action. As a minor, they are responsible for her, she cannot decide. Pizza delivery people are not covered by any insurance except their own. Auto insurance is required to have the job. This guy is trying to take advantage to keep his record clean. Also, I'm sure the pizza cost less than the bike. He won't pay for the pizza either.

NO--it was a hit and run accident--should have called a cop--still can if she remembers the driver and the car. Free pizza is a cheap way to avoid the troubles. An accident is an accident--the guy knows he was in trouble--bikes and pedestrians always have the right of way and he had a bad idea by driving off.

Do you propose that if your pizza transport driving force is in a automobile accident and stated accident makes your order previous due/undeliverable do you get a unfastened pizza? that may be able to be counted on the regulations of that distinctive business enterprise. i do no longer see why or you may get a unfastened pizza using fact somebody have been given hit.
