I have a 10 pound male yorkie who does very well with other dogs when they are around. Im planning on buy either a papillon/bichon or a papillon/maltese and I will buy a male. Im just not sure what dog my yorkie would get along better with. also does anyone know how much the first few vet bills cost? and how much it cost to get them neutured. thanks!!

Since you already have a male, I'd get a female. They usually get along better. The first shots will be about $150, & a spay for a small female will be $100-$150, depending on the vet you use.

You will not know if they will get along until the two dogs meet.

In TX it's about $200 for basic shots, heartworm/flea meds, and then another $70 for neutering.
