If we still living by following all the Old Testament rules, that's pretty tough my friend. That's why when Jesus came, He gave NEW commandments which are related to the old ones, but lighter. For example about those food;

1 Corinthians 10 says:
23"Everything is permissible"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible"—but not everything is constructive. 24Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.

25Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, 26for, "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it."[c]

27If some unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience. 28But if anyone says to you, "This has been offered in sacrifice," then do not eat it, both for the sake of the man who told you and for conscience' sake[d]— 29the other man's conscience, I mean, not yours. For why should my freedom be judged by another's conscience? 30If I take part in the meal with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of something I thank God for?

And for homosexuality,
1 Corinthians 6:15
15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!

Jesus has stated everything, so it's up to humans to choose their ways..

Good questions. Give you a star!

Jesus did not come to do away with the law. He fulfilled it. He lived in perfect accord with the law and was found to be the suitable sacrifice who had not a single blemish.
Christians live in Christ, faithfully following his leading and example. We uphold the law in this way, for his example is as one who succeeded the test of obedience to God.
It is important to have an understanding of the teachings of both the old and the new testaments. Some of the old restrictions were lifted. Among them was the designation of certain foods as unclean. It is not required that we sacrifice animals at the Temple. Indeed, we are taught that God no longer dwells within the walls of the Temple, but in the hearts of all who are His. Ritual was replaced with a full-time living relationship.
We have not been freed from the penalty of sin for the express purpose of being able to continue to sin. We are to hold ourselves separate from it, as Christ has.

Who told you that the rules of the Old testament are void. They are wrong.. The ten commandments are in the old testament for goodness sakes..

Because Homosexuality is an abomination to God. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He hasn`t changed. Never will.

We are still, NOT, suppose to eat that stuff.. It is unhealthy and unholy. Pigs and shellfish are scavengers and eat the worst of the worst garbage. You are what you eat..

REALLY, REALLY good question! Understanding this will make a big difference to you, and I pray that you can understand.

The Law that you told us about is from the Law of Moses. There are 613 of them. Fail at any ONE of them, and you wont go to heaven.

BUT THERE IS ANOTHER WAY!!!!!
Jesus Christ is that other way. Whoever believes in him will be saved. Now you can take those 613 Laws of Moses and not worry about them. As you trust God through Christ, he begins to change you. And it might not be about homosexuality at all! He might have some other thing that He wants to work on you about. But through His Spirit He brings change to those who trust Him.

So stop worrying about things like this. If you trust God He will guide you. Not those who think they are clean.

homosexuality is a sin because it does not give glory to god. more so, it is against god's will for he made man exclusively for woman so as woman is made exclusively for man.

god does not forbid us to eat shell fish and pork.
