I know for myself that Mooney is right, twinsma. I also saw you among Mr. Troll Patrol's friends on his 360. All of his 360 friends (except for 1) are gone now, but that means nothing. I had always thought you were cool (and even had you in my contacts several times) before I saw that :(

I've never made any such public accusation, but I must say that sometimes it is VERY easy to tell who has reported you... like, say, when you've had a question open for three days with no new answers, then suddenly you get a new answer - from someone who is mad at you for the question - after which you soon receive a violation for it. Proof? No. Enough evidence to be confident? Yeah, I'd say so.

Birds of a feather flock together, twinsma. Are you still a member of the Troll Patrol? Is this the reason for your question?

No think it would be very unfair to be saying something about someone without proof. In fact we often misjudge people in R&S because of their beliefs. It closely resembles a phenomena in our post 9-11 era, of a term called 'racial profiling'.
I think we should never make hasty decisions based on little known facts. Do you have a solution in mind? Maybe we can come up with a better method to combat this.
You always seem to make poignant observations. I really appreciate your mind.
Thanks for a great statement / question.

See, don't accuse her of troll patrol if you don't know. I fear upsetting people, too, and getting a violation, but you never know for sure who does it. I've reported once for a guy calling a girl questioner a *****. And it was uncalled for. She asked a very neutral question in another site, and once for a lady posting names, addresses and phone #'s of people (still alive) in genealogy. Otherwise, no matter how rude some are, it's still another's opinion and if you don't use foul language, I see no problem with it. We do have to remember there are younger people reading this, too. Imagine what they think of us bickering back and forth. I hope they don't take it to show their teacher! :(

No, it is not fair. Yahoo will not reveal the identity of the person reporting, so no one can prove anything.
I have not told anyone to block anyone.
Thanks for the question.

It takes many hours to report someone to the point where their account is deleted. It takes about three min. to make a new one. I just have a couple of backup accounts and don't worry about it.

You're right, how does one know? I've been very cautious in the past because I've been deleted. My current blocked users list consists of people who've made threats (to me or somebody I know) and people who've blocked me.
I've been thinking about removing everybody (or mostly everybody) from my blocked users list.

In the one instance where this happened to me, the culprit identified himself and I took his word for it.
