He says that it is a sin for them to have children with thier mom Eve so he says GOD made Asian people that they had children with. He also said that it is in the Bible but I have never read it. Does this have any truth.

I have never read that part in the bible. And I have read 3 of them.
Adam and Eve were the first people ever created -- naked. A snake (the devil) slithered by and told them to eat the apples in the tree (poisonous). They did, disobeyed God, felt truely sorry, and went to Heaven =)

If you read Genesis, you'll see that there's not one but two creation stories. Some believe that the first one (Gen 1:26-27) refers to the creation of Adam and Lilith, or Lilith and some other person. They're created at the same time. In the second story Adam is first created (Gen 2:7) and then Eve is made from his rib (Gen 2:21-22). Some Christians argue that these are supposed to be the same story told in 2 different ways, but that isn't the case. For one thing, the order of the things that get created are different.

This still doesn't explain how Cain goes out and manages to find the whole city of Nod, of course. Maybe you're better off treating it as inspirational theology rather than history.

(And a note to the person who's claimed to read 3 Bibles: there's no indication that the serpent was necessarily a snake or that the fruit was necssarily an apple.)

Remember when you were real little and your mom told you bedtime stories about talking animals and fantastic places and people that never lived? Well, that's what the story of Adam and Eve is--a fable that people used to tell each other because it was their explanation of how humans came into the world. They didn't know any better; they had no science or telescopes or archeology. There is NO evidence in any branch of science to support the wild notion that all of humanity came from two people who lived in an enchanted garden with a talking snake and two magical trees. If you believe any of what is in Genesis, you are no smarter than the Bronze Age nomads who made it all up. Remember, they also thought the world was a flat circle with a solid dome for a sky, and that God opened up windows in the dome to let out the rain water. They thought the stars were little bits of light attached to the dome and if you built a tall enough tower, you could reach the sky--after all, it wasn't very far away, just over the tops of those mountains over there. Do you believe these things just because ancient people believed them? I certainly hope not, or your science exams are really going to be a problem for you.

You asked a very good question and I intend to give you a serious answer. Adam and Eve were NOT the first human beings. Adam and Eve were sent down to Earth almost 38,000 years ago. The world was well populated by that time.

For more about this amazing couple, I highly recommend the book Adam and Eve - A Tragic Love Story. This is a serious work and I think you'd really enjoy it.

In Genesis 4:16, after God banished Cain for killing his brother, he left and dwelt in the land of Nod, east of Eden. There he married and had children. I'm assuming after God created Adam and Eve, he made others and they resided in other lands. The Bible says Adam was first man created, so that is where the truth is. Matt 1:26,27.

Here, for your pleasure, are brief selected excerpts from the creation story: Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Gen 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed

The entire creation story is told from Genesis 1 thru 3, and can be read in its entirety in less than 15 minutes. These 9 verses that I selected are probably more scripture than you 26 people have actually read in your combined lifetimes, but yes, Adam and Eve were the first human beings, and the friend is misinformed. The asker of the question is forgiven as a child, but what about the rest of you? Can't anybody give this poor kid a straight answer?

Edit: Sorry, I think I've read 4 or 5 good answers, including the one above me.
Edit 2: Great Confession of faith, kid!!! Don't let the turkeys get you down!! If you can't get a little thick skinned, you'd better get off Yahoo before you're eaten alive. I believe every word of the Bible also, and I can stand against 1,000 single handed. Cover my back and we can take 10,000. Don't be sorry for asking; you're learning about the kind of people in the world in which we live. You sound already grown up enough to stand your ground. Keep it up. Never give up. One day you will hear 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant'.

You and your friend need to check your facts for yourself. The Bible is there for all to read. Adam and Eve are the first people mentioned in the account of creation in the book of Genesis; however, some people theorize that there may have been a pre-Adamic race, as hinted to between Gen. 1:1 and Gen. 1:2. They theorize that that explains cave men.

(Don't shoot me--I'm just the messenger here!)

Read the first couple of chapters of Genesis and get back to us...

No, Adam and Eve are mythological characters in the bible. The first man and woman on earth will probably never be known. The closest we can come to that is Mitochondrial Eve, and thus far, she is the oldest known relative to everyone. She was found in Africa not Asia.
