IM NOT KIDDING

Lets just ban it all together. Make this sandwich no different than heroin or any other illegal narcotic.

If you possess more than 1 chesseburger you should be charged with possesion with intent to sell.

TO make this happen we need to ban cheese all together too. Since it is ADDICTIVE and bad for you

How can we start a grassroots network to do this?

oh and 1 more thing. I do believe that if found with only half a chesseburger it should only be a misdimeniour

It's not the burger that does it, it's the flat out laziness that makes it happen. You can eat cheesecake as long as you get off your butt and work out.

NO WAY !! America stands for Apple Pie, Cheese, and Cheeseburgers, Chicken and all those good things to eat. America the Land of Plenty. I Love Cheeseburgers and so do Millions of people all over the world. Skinny people can eat more then one Cheeseburgers. I watched a skinny women eat , three Cheeseburgers at a sitting. It is not a crime to eat, and Americans don't need that kind of control in this Land of Plenty. God Bless the Freedom of America.

You have a point. The salt and unhealthy fat in huge quantities is so damaging to customer's health that it might not be considered food.

At minimum, I'd consider labeling laws that (like cigarettes) warns customers of health risks and provides information about ingredients.

Most fast food restaurants I've visited do not provide this information or they claim that they cannot find it.

According to history, they banned alcohol since so many people were becoming addicted but the public pretty much ignored the law and drank anyway...bet they'd keep chomping on those burgers the same way.

How about if we just make it a law that items sold that are intended to be chewed and swallowed consist solely of actual food.

If people would just take a look at what some of the ingredients in their fast food actually are, they would consider it poison.

Btw, I'm a big advocate of the all natural diet.

For starters, where did you come up with this? Cheese is addictive? Cheese burgers cause obesity? Cheese is bad for you? Are you on drugs? Where are your parents and teachers? What are you thinking?

To answer you, in order:
1. NO
2. Even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you.

I'm way too libertarian to make owning food a crime. But, I think we need to face the reality that a bucket of chicken or a greasy hamburger is just as dangerous as a cigarette (nicotine or marijuana) or a glass of an alcoholic beverage.

If the government wanted to tax such foods as a vice in the same way in taxes some of those others, I don't think I'd be opposed to it. I wouldn't mind keeping them out of public schools either.

Well then we would have to add cake and icecream and anything else that's fattening and addictive. Instead of having the government monitor what we eat how about we exercise a little self-control. Come on now, you have to be kidding, even though you said you weren't.

I am sorry but there are many other things that contribute to obesity, so try comparing apples to apples, not cheeseburgers to heroin.

I guess stupidity trumps personal freedoms. I bet you voted for George Bush too. I think we should take the opposite lesson from your comparison of drugs and cheeseburgers and rethink our drug policy.
