Do you mean rest between sets? Of course. You need to rest between sets so that your muscles can recover and enable you to do another set.
Depending on your goals, resting 45s-1m between sets is acceptable.

To get the best out of any workout you need to optimize your rest time. When lifting weights, you should rest about 20 seconds between sets. Any more and you have to work the muscle to get it pumped again. Any less and you are working it too hard and can't correctly complete the desired amount of reps. Same thing goes for cardio. You need to rest but not too much. The real rest comes after the workout. You break the muscles down and then give them a good 48 hours to recover before working that muscle group again. Hope this helps.

Actually you should rest during a workout. More like 30 mins. You body can only take so much and it needs time to repair and recoopperate before being worked out again.
